Cooper Brown
Bio
Commencing Dec 1999 with a Christmas gig at one of the final Barfly night's at The Falcon, Cooper Brown continued with a number of noisy gigs including The Dublin Castle, Bull & Gate, Highbury's The Garage and their own local venue, The Peel in Kingston Upon Thames.
Sticking to a formula of screaming pop vocals backed with frenetic hard-rock riffs in the traditions of Motorhead, Nirvana & Green Day, Cooper Brown get the following reviews ...
"Amazing really amazing ... like watching the Jam when they first hit the scene" - BURBs
"Cooper Brown played a blazing set of punk-inspired rock. Punk like Dinosaur Jr, rather than NoFX, which made it all the more interesting" - CollectiveZine
"Tunes that were abrupt, intense and forceful. Coopersound tore through the shabby basement like a wrecking ball." - MusicOMH.com
