i love GRUFF
WHAT A GOOD MAN
I don't think I'd be able to fairly review this
I'm such a big fan that I just can't be critical on his work. I enjoy it purely as something I know I love. His stuff hits me in the gut rather than being a cerebral thing. Can't wait for this album.
Just ordered Alien: Ressurection on PS1 off amazon for £3
I only have a PSone in my bedroom so that'll be nice.
Brilliant interview, thanks so much
Seeing him on Saturday in Brighton. He's my musical hero and Grandaddy are my favourite band. oooooo
I preordered this on vinyl when i was having a weird moment
the stream of it though suggests it's actually great so, hey ho.
I didn't know this band existed
and I love Faith no More so much. So any chance to hear some accessible weirdo rock with him on seems like a good idea to check out.
thanks
it's brilliant
This album is nigh on perfect
I can't get enough of it.
where the fuck can people hear this?
it's not on amazon or the chemikal underground site?
I'm going to be honest here
I think this might be my album of the year, if not it'll be in the top 3 easily. I find it to be completely magical piece of work and sonically it often makes me actually tingle a bit. I love the percussion, the production and the overall 'feeling' of the album.... as daft as that sounds. Overall it just delivers quite a profound experience that no other album this year has quite equalled. Sure there are moments which could have been reworked (that stupid paper goats line on Winter Fields) but man, everytime Oh Yeah starts and those vocals kick in all I can think is "this is perfect".
My favourite thing about Dark Dark Dark is..
Nona's voice. I find it really quite comforting but the band's catalogue is so samey, Wild Go is a beautiful album in places but it has to be digested infrequently. When I do listen though, it always seems amazing.
I hated this at first
thought 'oh not another dull fuzzy dream pop album' but it fucking gets its claws in doesn't it? Good stuff.
This is probably my favourite Blur album
Especially if you include the secret track.
yes 10/10
quite possibly my favourite album of all time.
9/10 for me
one of the best things he's ever recorded
