I have no money
*kills self*
The 1st song is a good pop song
and I can't remember the rest
I'll only go if
SAINT DRUM MACHINE are allowed to play.
MCGEE!
his blog is hilarious.
The tape player on my stereo is broken
and I have half a binbag full of tapes wasting away. I do still use my Tascam 4 track occasionally.
I wish, I wish
I was going to this
I know
I am so, so tempted even though I'm well poor. But it's so cheap ...
Play nearer my house, you bastards!
I still love you. x
send it to me!
I need it more.
Good song, btw
Good review
Will last Sunday turn out to be a 'I was there' thing? Who knows. I had fun, anyway. Threatmantics were probably my faves along with the ever hilarious Gindrinker, but I would say that; I have tasted D.C Gates' savoury balls
I second this
I bought 2 and one is winging its way to Chicago as we speak.
37! I win!
plus add on 5 years as that's obviously a lie. Fuckin' old bitch
How old is she?
I had a raging argument with my brother which lasted about 12 seconds. I reckon she's 40-odd, he says late 20's.
I could do lots of work now
instead of faffing about on here. That would work
That is tempting
is his Italian any good?
That's a pretty swish lineup
Sunday will be good. Can someone do my revising so I can go see Sweet Baboo tonight? Please?
Did anyone else ctrl + f their own name?
No, me neither
all bald vegans are the same
to be fair, there are only two of them
I hate it
I wouldn't wump on it if I was desperate
re: global listings
My only criticism is that the listings aren't quite as thorough for the UK as a whole.
With regards to global listings, it would be very handy/helpful if there were listings for as many major cities as possible as I'll be living abroad next year. I'd gladly do the listings for you for nothing if it means helping DiS
HOTT!
he's just trying to nick my look
:-(
is all I can say
This is
about the best news ever. maybe
Fopp have been selling it on import for a few months
official release is end of the month. I'm not getting paid for this info, but if you do want to make donations, pm me. srsly
September 2nd 2003
Carl Barat, you've got a butt that won't quit mnolwibdujovewwpioeowbvdow they'sve got these real chewy pretzels $5? Get outta here!
David St.Hubbins? Is that you?
Man, you've let yourself go. Anyone for a shit sandwich?
What next?
Riquelme and Sonic Youth?
Uncover the next Charlotte Church?
sounds pervy to me. I'm in!
Good stuff!
Gethin Pearson seemed worried that I was either going to puke or spill my pint on his keyboard. To be honest, so was I. Did he just play the one (very long) song or did they all sound the same?
I think that We Are Trees' haircuts and footwear probably cost more than all their instrumets put together. I'd rate them 'shrug my shoulders' out of 10, not my thing, but someone out there would like it.
Dressy Bessy just looked like a band, didn't they? I bet that they're one of those bands who are consistently excellent live. As much as I prefer Fonda500, for me, Dressy stole the show. Slightly.
Fonda500 were as good as I hoped. Which, and taking into account I'm Wales' biggest pessimist, was nothing short of Hulltastic. Good stuff. I hope we see them (& Dressy) again very soon. I think I also told them 'you guys rock'. I am a twat.
Unconscious people in baths at parties are fun
but don't piss on them if the plug is in! Let's have fun at someone's expense but within reason, kidz
Is DiS @ the Barfly the last Friday of every month?
I feel I should go one day
Also, have you thought about doing 'one-offs' at other Barfly's around the country? e.g. Cardiff? *hint hint*
I'm sure I read somewhere
that Britney walked out of one of his recording sessions as she was laughing too much over the wankiness of his 'music'. LOL & indeed LOL
That Polly Jean Harvey
she started off by becoming popular in Abbots Leigh. Then her popularity spread to Avonmouth, and thence to Battery Point. Before you knew it, she was HUGE in the entire Bristol area!
Can I be crude and say that Cotton
loves the rock cock?
Hey, Mike
you should enter this hehe
I have the 1st album
which I haven't listened to since the olden days. S'ok, I suppose
I quite like the single
but the rest of the longplayer is smothered in mehness
Spooky
did you just change the picture, Mike?
Like a Volcano erupting
hence the exclamation mark
