doh
looks like they are the two extra tracks on the UK edition...
cheers for that
lovely stuff: Hype Machine revealed all. also great is another extra track "Tonight" which you can download from her myspace
picked up this album in Sweden
after reading about her in NME, just wonderful. I think she's also playing Push at Astoria 2 on apr 26th
fucking driving or what
a cracking freebie of a gig, thank you DiS!
normally
I hate quizzes/comps unless they have a proper answer! I guess that was my radical moment. I don't think the quizmeister had any expectation of responses being relevant; that's kerazy DiS for you.
and forgot to add
The "More Stories" remix/bonus album is well worth tracking down - only released in a few countries but the mp3s are around
yep
i waa talking about the gig - saw Gavin Clark coming on to sing and was worried it might not be his kind of song, but he did OK
churlish of me...
... to nitpick the review after winning tickets to see this great gig (thanks DiS!) but I'm sure Clayhill's Gavin Clark sang the vocals for "Lonely Soul"...
And you may tell yourself
My god!...what have I done?
your articles...
really need dates on them as standard!
well said
there
I agree
just picked this up as it was in Rough Trade's albums of the year, magical stuff
synergy
been through too many mergers and acquisitions
i love this lot
saw them supporting !!! and Digitalism, and love the album - prog-rock, Bowie & Daft Punk, what's not to like?
that didn't work?

you made me curious, censorship-centric
just in case anyone else missed it:-

why seetickets? please no
at least promote buying direct from the venue, over a fiver less per pair. http://www.roundhouse.org.uk/whats-on/productions/underworld-1300?
for us on widescreen laptops
there's even more white space, strange design
indeed they were
is it me or does this sound a bit heavy?
The Cinematic Orchestra
cheers then
£6.99
for 2CD on music-wow, £13.99 with DVD = bargain
fair review
I'd give them 7 each. RS's vocal quirks can irritate but when she lets her voice go she's brilliant. great encore. I had forgotten the cameras - an easy way for a dumb minority to spoil the beautiful light show near the end.
calm yrself
it was a single in sept 2006 and it has just been reissued - harsh review though
This sort of post...
...happens every year. It will happen next year as well. And the year after. And the next year after that. Can you see a pattern emerging yet?
well
i guess that means the reviewer knows little about D&B then
second
You'd hope that most bands are still learning and developing with their second album. You could be right that it would make some writing more vivid, but to me it's a naff Americanism, especially in music reviews and appended with "effort"... but yeah like I'm over it.
I quite like this album
Agree with the rating, maybe it's not quite as good as their first album. Why the need for DiS reviewers to use the word sophomore? Second is a lot less pompous.
easily confused
no they added the S to reflect their new musical direction.
supporting Earlies at Scala KIngs Cross
would get at least a 9 from me - for me they were better than the headliners
eh? (part 2)
this is the strangest review I've seen on this site in a long, long time. D&B?
this album
is beautiful, love it
Fedde Le Grand's
Put Your Hands Up For Detroit. go on.
forum upstairs
there's plenty of standing room up there
try it, you might like it
...if you like both artists? just a thought
