who is this guy? he's no one. Bloc party are an amazing band with thousands of albums sold, sold out gigs etc etc!
why do people have to be so afraid of bands who ask their fans to THINK?

Oasis make a couple catchy tunes and suddenly they're hailed as Gods. Noel thinks he can get away with so much but he's just a lout.

Hoorah if Bloc Party take some of the masses away from the kooks etc of today, but i think you're wrong saying the 2nd album is worse than the first. they both have separate strengths and i think the 2nd album has really come out strong lyrically. i find the songs much more thought-provoking and influential than the first album.

Not U2, not Snow Patrol. Though I do like the latter. Bloc Party have a very unique sound. And although this song is not their usual rough guitar sound, it is pure & beautiful with great lyrics.

You're wrong - Bloc Party's album is amazing and if only people took the time to listen & understand the lyrics it would make a lot of people sit up and realise we have so much to do about the state of things. I think the release is appropriate, and not a media attention seeking act. 2 years on may seem an odd time to remember, but it's not like they could have written and released it any sooner. A good song is better late than never!
