I think this would eb an ideal oppurtunity for

Gary Glitter's live comeback.

oh dear.

i did not know that.

Bruce for prez.

If the boss endorsed one of them

literally thousands of people would base their vote of that factor alone.

I would.

McCains choices

seem sort of floaty and throwaway.

where as obama's choices reek of being put together by some sort of PR company.

I think it would be rad if one of them had chosen CRASS.

fantastic group

great to see them finally getting some of the praise they deserve.

INDIGO O2

Still quite big?

lets hope

that they are breaking up.

it's funny

but it's not reasonable.

i was at a party

were Kele attacked Simon out of Klaxons for asking him if 'two more years' was the direction they were going in and singing the song in a funny voice.

kele was literally trying to stamp on his face at one point.

this was just before kalxons got signed.

I like How Yannis and Ricky got involved

most rubbish indie tag team ever? But good stuff lads anyway.

Lydon is an idiot. i'm sure he'll say 'i was the first person to play reggae at the roxy' or something in his defense.

having seen quite a few old punk bands-the pistols, the damned, the undertones, i'm not one bit suprised by the idea that pistols have an entourage of idiots. i can see them now. middle aged. bald. fat. leather jackets. cockney. Oh dear.

I hope kele sues the shit out of him.

agreed

he is like one of those annoying new cross 'unsigned' types who actually managed to get signed.

personally i think his music is nowhere near as good as scouting for girls.

oh yeah

that video is just straight up dreadful.

my first impressions

i like the 'mer-cur-y' bit. that is quite catchy.

I'm glad they have let Matt Tong express himself again. he is an excellent drummer, i felt he was under usued on 'a weekend in the city'.

lyrically it seems to be a step up from some of the really adolescent stuff on the last album.

overall i think the song isn't great though. i just doesn't have the x factor of their early material, it seems to be trying to hard to be clever and edgy.

its way too long as well. the chorus is repeated about 15 times!

you should care about music

if that is what you do with your life.

for a start

it won't flop. it will be a very similar album to the first one, except most of the lyrics will be a cheeky piss take of what it is like to be a celebrity. it will either be fairly massive or really really massive. so she isn't going away.

the sad thing is the way she obviously doesn't give a shit about music and if it did go tits up she'd do something else. she seems completely driven by the need for other people to like her.

could you imagine if she became an a&r? some poor band would have all their credibilty destroyed quicker than you could say 'discovered by lilly allen!!'.

laziest genius ever?

?

WHERE IS FUCKED UP!

.

IFS

is a legend.....nation of ulysses, make up. the man is rock and roll personified.

Harsh!

but fair..........

i played a gig with them

and they were three of the nicest blokes you'd ever meet. i find it strange that they have all these problems, i didn't pick up on any of it.

the drummer in coldplay

doesn't represent an age where you can't tell one drummer from an other or whatever the review said. He is just a fucking boring player, albeit one who has been overproduced to fuck.
