answer is
a/ the united kingdom
i went to
the hardfi/carbon silicon one, it was ace! didn't spend a penny, unlimited booze and food, coach trips and even spending vouchers at the JD shop. you should enter(nb: in retrospect i would have skipped some of the gigs and gone to see the ice hockey)
a/
grasshopper
i would say
a/ super furry animals
they
definitley played part of Buffalo Springfield's For What It's Worth too - somewhere in the dirge of United States i think. i would have enjoyed the show more if they had screens or at least a light show that didn't totally obscure the band.
anyone
have any samples of the new stuff ? not to download just to listen to - their myspace is just the old tunes...
yep,
was conned into seeing them at digital in brighton (even said secret super***** show) on the ticket. and they played for 25 minutes !

bit precious aren't we ?
personally,
i would prefer rather than this over produced Ronson nonsense that she take the Neil Young 70's way and get sloshed on tequila and send out an album that's a glorious, heart felt mess. she could carry that off methinks.
don't worry,
i've heard them and these are poor tracks, nothing to get excited about (and i say that as a big midlake fan)
why
should an opinion have to be in context to previous releases and any band's back catalogue ? "yeah i bet you guys didnt know they have had 10 albums.. " who gives a fuck ? the best reviews are ignorant of what a band did or didn't previously sound like. copies you be sent to reviewers in blank cases with no markings imo - then you might get a more honest review.
gruff
listed as playing field day on his myspace and field days' myspace too.....
sunday
Elliott Smith's Whatever (folk song in c): "what are you doing hanging out with me"
i have
to add my voice to this. your review is so off the mark - in fact i almost didn't buy this because of it. and thank god i did ! 5 really strong tracks. ease my mind is sensational and reminds of led zeppelin III. definately a band to watch. NME is shite and only worth flicking through while in Smiths - but they got it right with this band.
yeah,
lots of yuppies live around the freebutt !
considering
the story just below about an artist committing suicide this article is in really bad taste. fuck off

talking out of your arse
i saw more black and asian people at latitude this year than i ever see at glastonbury. "too white, too middleclass" is such a boring criticsm, tickets go on sale and whoever wants to go.... buys them.
