b) It’s Jo & Danny

niiiiiice!

Please Please Please

can somebody get Dom Passantino to review this LP.

i am in desperate need a good belly laugh.....

not convinced

by the 'totally influenced' Nirvana. lets look at all the possibilities on the complilation ''sub pop rock city'' -
i suspect Tad were quite a way down the list! Cat Butt must be higher. LOL!!

i should say so!

:o)

:o)

i am a massive fan of Murray Street, but know very few others that are.

rain on tin is super choice!

still they are never going to top Sister or Evol, however their last 2 studio records are individually so much better than most careers!

surely shome mishtake.

that quote is made up..... no?

replacement

adam and joe. hilarious!!

hmmmm

already seen the thom yorke one on youtube. are these just reissues from the website shows i couldn't afford now on a tv station i cant afford...?

reply to myself!

got thru to roundhouse on phone, all gone! YIKES!!

got 3 standing instead. YAY!!!

sitting on saturday?

anybody bagged any sitting down tix for saturday... i know - i'm old!! LOL!

cant see them anywhere so far. roundhouse not answering phone!! website say not available! i am sure they will be.

masterpiece ??

hmmm. a few interesting pieces but i found it [in the main] drab and unfocussed... not unlike a lot of 2nd division shoegaze acts from yesteryear.

harumph.....

me too... :o)

CIA...

they are going to sound dreadful in the 'shoebox on its side' venue that is the CIA....

well really....

LOL! personally - i think he was a very well produced drummer rather than a *tight as a gnats chuff* drummer - the rock world is littered with much better drummers than mr bonham... let alone all the other types of drummers available...

but - interesting point about not calling it Led Zep. Maybe Arsenal should rename themselves not Henry has left? how about the fact that The Sensational Alex Harvey Band still play on even though Alex popped his clogs about a similar time (IIRC) - its not like Led Zep were called John Bonham and the Led Zeppelins.... :oD

get over yourself!

Vol 1

is a choice record - one of my fav's. when i am in the mood for this sort of stuff it is always near the top of the list with some Flying Saucer Attack or Bailterspace vying for a play!

upto phase 5 now...

:o)

http://www.bangonpr.com/media/battles/battles_512k.asx

one of the middle sections.... the vocals remind me of a kate bush i cant remember the name of.

i'll get me coat.

phase 2

thats where i am...

SZ2. now that is genius and was eagerly awaiting this LP and the inpending live date in bristol.

i heard the LP, reached phase 2 and accepted a football tournament invite in london on the same day as the gig (out of spite in as much as anything)... disappointed in wonderment at where it all went wrong!

this review has given me inpetus to revisit and reassess... i'll thank you for that... but i dont think i can get out of the match! so will be missing them live.... bugger!!

meh!

a bit harsh but encapsulates this record quite well. a big fan of the first two records - this is seemingly a massive let down from them in this context. however this isn't a bad record on the whole just not really very exciting. ho hum!

SY

holy poo! sold out.... =:o(

kentish town forum

as with Haywood. i saw them here and were i concur they were note perfect. sound was expectional. i fail to see how anybody there could come away disappointed.
