"Bowerbirds' songs leave your heart squirming, somewhere between pinched in anguish and full to bursting."
great DiScover. i LOVE bowerbirds
funny
"Unlikely though it is that someone who hadn’t previously found wonder in Beck’s (often brilliant) catalogue would discover Modern Guilt was the catalyst to a sudden appreciation"
that's exactly what this record did for me. i've always found beck mildly quirky/irritating but this record's made me want to explore his back catalogue.
ta
just got my tickets
new video?
this song's been kicking about for ages, are they releasing it? great vid & great song anyway, looking forward to the windmill gig
it's a 'nice' record
but i don't like 'nice'.. they don't even compare to bowerbirds!
sadface
well at least i can see efterklang at field day without worrying about missing out on them.
'lazy'
was my first thought, too.
at first glance
i thought guy garvey was ricky gervais..
great pics. i could have listened to joanna newsom all weekend....
A) Glastonbury Festival
isn't it silly to have a comp where the answer is in the comment.. what if i REALLY didn't know the answer, i admit i would have cheated and peeked at someone else's answer.
anyway, i really want to go see why? on fatboy slim day (2 london gigs just ain't enough)
i am in favour of the oxford comma, actually
great vid, quite wes anderson-esque with the chapter titles too
i saw him
at a derren brown show, sat in front of me looking quite dapper.
roll on latitude!
for reals
off to be sick now
booo
was looking forward to seeing her at Latitude, 'exhaustion' is a crap excuse; who is she, lindsay lohan?
windmill gig
it'll be great - bowerbirds supporting!
