TITP last year

Absolute fucking nightmare. Left Dundee Bus Station at 12.30, hit the traffic jam at about half 1 approx. 4 or 5 miles from Balado, took another 7 HOURS to get there. By the time we'd dumped our bags, put up tents very quickly so our spot was claimed etc etc we only just made the last act of the night (Arctic Monkeys) and had missed Bloc Party, the one act most of my mates wanted to see on the Friday.
8 hours for a journey that should've been 1 and a half normally. Nightmare.

He went

To my high school apparently!
And Christian Dailly (West Ham defender) went to my primary school and was mates with my brother.
Mmmm, connections...

Never fear,

Only some of the acts have been announced so there should be some better bands further down the bill. For instance, the Pet Sounds tent hasn't announced a headliner for Saturday yet- The Shins perhaps? Still an alright lineup, I'm looking forward to the following:
Arctic Monkeys
Bloc Party
Arcade Fire
Klaxons
Babyshambles
Snow Patrol (sigh, I know)
Kasabian
Interpol
Maximo Park

Oi!

My surname is Cocker as well!

Good God.

The View and Kasabian on the same tour.
THAT would be a real nightmare/ terrorist opportunity

Downloaded this

On the power of this review, and I have to say I really love that album.
My favourites are Lady Of The Flowers, 36 Degrees and Teenage Angst, though I feel the whole album's really strong.
On a trivia note, someone in my year at school is the cousin of Brian Molko. he's also a complete geek...a nice enough guy, but he has Harry Potter Glasses, acne, the teenage moustache, a squeaky high voice and a giant head.
Just so you all know.

Aw fuck

Wrightylew's back.
Thought he went out the window along with England's Euro 2008 campaign! ;)

My two cents

More options on band profiles? Like the fans can vote for favourite songs or leave comments or recommendations for people who want to get into that band/musician.
An option to go through gigs a month at a time, going through week by week can take its time.
An option for users to create new band profiles- this COULD be open to abuse admittedly but could help with more local bands, etc etc.

I couldn't care less

If he was an idiot savant who spent all his time ooutside the studio in a mental hospital, I FUCKING LOVE WEEZER!!!!!!
HEHEHEEHEHHEHE I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW
Hence the unnecessary swearing.
Sorry.
I'll get me coat.

Please god

Say that, somehow, this'll stop them supporting Muse on the 24th in Edinburgh...
Well, I can dream anyway.

My mate

Met Reggie Yates once, said he was 'pretty sound.'
Reggie said "I fucking love young bands" to him.
Make of that what you will.

Panic!

Are truly, truly awful. It's like listening to a cross of The Bravery,5ive, Justin Timberlake and *insert generic emo band name here*. Forget Christina Aguilera, if they played Panic! in Guantanamo Bay to the inmates they'd crack like *that*.
Fall Out Boy I don't mind so much, apart from the long song titles.

I once met

Muhammad Ali.
And my dad's met all of the Rolling Stones waaay back in the early 70's, so I think I win.
Beat my mate at least, he's only met the Chuckle Brothers.

"Put Sufjan Stevens on,

We'll play your favourite song..."
Damn Snow Patrol for mentioning him in a song.
Hope it doesn't lead to overexposure-where I live, Bloc Party have been claimed by the bland crowd and I don't want that happening to another one of my favourite artists.
*waits for jokes about how Bloc Party are bland*

Oi!

Shut it!
MAYBE people would give a damn about what you thinkif you didn't plug that bloody shite site on EVERY post!!
And exactly, it's Weezer, one of the few bands that everybody with any musical taste loves.
So get to france.

I love

Irn-Bru!!!!!!!!!
And I'm from Scotland which means I can practically bathe in the stuff.
Fact.
Also, when I were down sarf this week I had to hire a bloody Sherpa to help me find some. If you've not tried it, I highly recommend you do.

My mate

Met Reggie Yates at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee, apparently he was dead sound and gave my mate and his band his personal email address to email him their demos 'cos he "fucking loves young bands" (actual quote).
And he stood around with them and watched Muse's set, while Fearne Cotton chainsmoked and looked like a drag queen.
True story!

Oh

and in addition, withpaperwings probably articulated what I was trying to say in a much calmer and better way.
Signing out.

*rolls up sleeves*

a) Course i know what a bloody Nazi is,the line's actually a reference from Family Guy and was meant as a slightly ironic comment.Obviously,as you did not understand this, combined with your need to defend AVA with threats to both this website and, reading between the lines,Iran, this makes you an American kid who probably has one of thos mirror pics on their MySpace profile.
b)My school's in the top 10% of schools in the country according to statistics. Now in my senior year, I've received the History prize every year and am planning to do it at uni next year. So I think I know what a Nazi is to repeat my earlier point.
c) I don't give a crap if the reviewer got sacked,he was probably nicking money from the office or summat.
d) Never, ever use lmao. Please, it drags down the tone of any forum.
e) Vote Democrat

I actually

Was going to defend the album because I quite like it,and disagree with the review in a friendly way.
But the guy above me stopped me doing that.
Why?
BECAUSE HE IS ONE OF THOSE ANNOYING PEOPLE WHO TYPES IN CAPS LOCKS AND THREATENS PEOPLE WHO DON'T AGREE WITH HIM.
You're a freakin' Nazi,maaaaan!

A Better Title

Oops! They Did It Again! would've had them rolling in the aisles.
Well, maybe not that far.
Aaaaanyway, quite a shock she's pregger again. I mean, have you SEEN those photos of her in those waste-of-trees rags like OK Magazine?
Sheesh. Talk about letting yourself go.
