is an insired choice for headline. and kings of leon could be a real surprise. the verve are a shit choice for headline. this whole idea of glasto in crisis is a load of shit. it will sekk out - just because it doesn't happen straight away is of no consequence. maybe the trendy c**ts looking for the experience because its cool are all having their hair done that weekend...

why not

profile DIS records? comparing this to the fierce panda profile, they are both of equal value and well written - DIS is as important as any other indie label. why leave them out because of the obvious connections to the website?

Smaller bands (and even the bigger ones...) should release whatever - if its good and honest and not about getting money for nothing then singles, ep's, albums, whatever are all viable and acceptable things to release. And isn't easier to get your single played on Radio 1 or Xfm or whatever as the music researchers/presenters won't have the time or patience to sit through an album of material to get to the good stuff - singles/eps have their place and are really important.
