the horrors were always gd
this is well good
foals should win this surely - where r they
i enjoyed the play on words also.
i thought they were awful and essentially a novelty band until i started looking into them further and got hold of their album. years from now i reckon they'll be looked back on as a classic band. i'm 22 i'm not a black clad teenager thats part of that crowd but i honestly think that faris is one of the great frontmen, that the band is talented and that theres art in what theyre doing. public attention might be turning away from them but i don't see them as a novelty band you just sweep under the carpet. you people should seriously give them a chance. end.
nice to see
might have to go. recently randomly bought live in 74 and it is rather good. and deluxe is a great album.
granted are possibly the weakest. however i really like the album overall. dont agree that just the singles are good - its one of my favourite albums released this year. for me 7 or 8 / 10.
v kool band
a good night. seemed special
i loved fopp too.
that they have a young following. its a mature album sonically and lyrically. i like it. 7or8 i reckon.
man that interpol/editors thread. has to be one of the best dis threads ever. intense conflict. big names posting. board wars. it had everything.
Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights
Arcade Fire - Funeral
Boards Of Canada - Geogaddi
BRMC - Take The On, On Your Own
British Sea Power - The Decline of
Hope Of The States - The Lost Riots
this single is aceness. i kindof like the production tho its a bit sterlie and makes it EVEN harder to get into, its quite a slow burner however.
i like the modern, harsh review by someone who clearly doesnt like electro. havent heard the single but thort they were real good live. i like electro from the 80s and i like the modern.
