kwes is dope!
and a really swell guy
that my tiger my timing song is genuinely danceable
this is quite surprising
i own that animal collective shirt
how did i get this awesome
everett true is well-know for his hatred of the smiths
which is a shame
frankmusik is obscenely handsome
he also looks EXACTLY like jc chasez
great great great article
best thing ive read for ages
its lame and i shouldnt do it
but part of me thinks this got a seven just because its quite short and has come out so soon after hony. it does exactly what that album did except better.
this really needs seconding
one of the laziest comparisons i have ever ever seen
i remember that bit
you dick
why is there a [sic] in front of retrieved
it's spelt right. come on guys.
im pretty sure this band is shit, although i like the lyrics. they are just kind of endearingly shit though.
oh i didnt see that bit in the article
i meant in the video itself. enough of your mad bellending!
JUST SPELL YOUR RIGHT
jesus
not heard this
but this was a really really good review, entertaining and informative reading :)
is Ladyhawke really allowed to be called that
when Ladyhawk exist?
that is a real distortion of everything antennas said
he justified every single (valid) point he made, and yet his argument has still been reduced to being a typical "indieboy" snob who dislikes anything on a major label.
just go and listen to ELO or something.
really liked this review
but it does irk me a little bit when reviewers refer to themselves AS the website they write for, i.e. DiS. it sort of undermines the individual personality of each writer. minor quibble though.
god i know it seems obvious
but that luke leighfield song is so horrible. the music is dull to begin with, but the weird moralising, almost aggressively chirpy lyrics are unbelievably irritating just because he comes off sounding so smug. i mean a line like "justice will prevail like it always does"... WTF?! no it doesnt, stop telling me it does!
which is a shame cuz hes a nice guy and hes pals with my friends brother apparently.
(b) the field
NO OPINION I JUST WANT DA STUFF
cheeky cheeky adn the whatevers
WIRE?! why are wire your first port of call for pigeonholing this band. have you heard a wire record? wire sound like little bits of song sliced up, or put through an exhaust, and are actually a bit weird and unnerving... cheeky and the nosebleeds dont. they have a song called secret agent girl with a kitsch surf guitar intro.
"I think The Enemy are really good"
narcissist!
on my birthday?!
i am a lucky boy. that guys skin looks like pancake.
aural pictures of the mars volta are flashing in my head
listening to that grammatics song. im sure they dont want that.
i bet this is such a tiny minority of people in the world
well not tiny, more infinitesmal
LOVELY DAY IS BY BILL WITHERS
WHO IS THANKFULL STILL WITH US
i cant believe people get so angry about this
its an article written by dom passantino. how can you take any of his insults/sweeping generalisations/exaggerations seriously? theyre clearly ridiculous!
the general argument here is really quite a good one, its just decorated with actually-quite-entertaining-but-kind-of-farcical asides. "why not to trust anyone over 30" is obviously not the main point of this missive, its just a 'controversial' headline, are people really getting worked up about it?
they really are
a band consisting entirely of mark out of peep show. is this a good or bad thing?
ok im sorry about this
i didnt read the article, i am only commenting to say how absolutely APPALLING street horrrsing's cover is. wow, its bad.
i look forward to hearing it a lot though!
dis' dirty rockist secret!
oooooooohhhh
ffs
the first post i made with this account said this but the few people that read it thought i was a knob!
I AM NO KNOB I AM RIGHT.
WOW
I put Time Has Told Me on a valentines mixtape for my girlfriend! I COULD PRACTICALLY BE IN BRITISH SEA POWER. AW YEAH.
everyone says it

establishing authenticity in music is an absurd task in the first place
but if you want to get bogged down in that, considering skreams first record came out in 2003, im struggling to see how he's somehow lacking in "troo dub" credentials
on the issue, this remix just works. its just nice.
