i've never been to a stadium rock gig
but have been to a festival. but i guess stadium rock will always be in and out of fashion, depends on the audience i guess, maybe....
guess you could say stadium rock are like flares.
stadium rock has never appealed to me either. i like to see the band a bit closer. music isnt about big pyrotechnics and "wow, how big is that stadium". i just like to watch my band and be entertained, which is the main reason why people go to a gig in the first place.
mudhoney rock
wow, 20 years, time really flies. its a priority to get those tickets.
What´s the pop charts?
I never really pay any attention on the top40 anymore, well for many years to be honest with you. It´s just full of shite and never really reflects what people buy.
hmmmm, Jarvis and Beth
I missed the beth and Jarvis performance on E4 (of all channels, never anything that's worth my time watching) but caught it on Channel 4 and was trying to decipher what they were singing and where the tune was actually coming from and could only hear crashing guitars and Beth screaming and Jarvis dancing up and down like a lemon. Totally disappointed and now that they are recording and releasing the duet, I don't feel inspired to buy it. Was so looking forward to seeing Jarvis but was totally let down. I think I'll stick to his album.
But as for awards ceremonies, they are there to hate, ridicule and condemn and criticise, so what I have read so far, everone has it down to a tee!
Finally, Enter Shikari for Peel innovation award? I don't think Peel would touch them with a barge pole. Klaxons for 10 year olds
yep the song says it all
the internet is for porn. I could sing that song all day!

Hmmm.....
Seems to me that nobody really has a solution which would resolve the issue of illegal downloading. Not that I am griping or complaining because it is a complex issue and would take along time to conclude.
I could be an absolute cynic and say to get rid of the internet completely with one fell swoop and would then stop the illegal downloading overnight but then thats not a realistic option so wouldnt really work. I would be very reluctant to follow the chinese example of limiting our access to music. I mean do we really want our access to music and the ways we listen to music to be limited?
One idea that comes to mind, although would sound to be a tad vague, is maybe offer an amnesty to websites which offer to download music illegally thus making the offending websites legitimised?
Hmm, I don't know what other people think of an amnesty, just a thought. Something to ponder on maybe?
