This worries me. The EP's were fucking brilliant.

Like I hinted (but didn't elaborate on) earlier, I know they've got it in them to still make some exciting music. In terms of catchy pop-rock songs, they have nailed the formula pretty bloody quickly. They're a talented bunch and Simon obviously is a bit of a genius at writing hooky melodies.

This is them now. I know they've still got it in them to release some good stuff. I just hope we've not lost them forever. :)

Chorus is a bit weak. Ending is quite good, I thought the strings were a bit unneccessary, but its growing on me. I'm looking forward to the album. Hopefully now they've proved to the label they can do mainstream they can go back to being fucking awesome?

Oceansize are just quiet at the moment due to writing and recording. New Dvd in August, new ep in September, new tour in November. The next year or so will be pretty busy for them I reckon.
Do you mean in terms of quality of material?

Its a shame about the lask of 'new' tracks, but now they're finally signed and getting released and all, I'd imagine album 2 wont be THAT far away.

The observer music monthly was giving everything 4/5 this month too. EVERYTHINGS PRETTY GOOD.

My favourite this year so far, though I've only got MPP, Crying Light and Bloodbank.

Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, and TVoTR...they were also all near the top, so it saved me literally seconds of scrolling!
