It is a grower. I liked it from the off, but after a few listens it really grabbed me. Doubt the Pitchfucker played it many times.

On 3rd October at the Windmill, Brixton with this lot:

www.myspace.com/destructoswarmbots

oh yes.

loads of reasons

one being the news story it creates and they probably owe her that money soon anyway so In July when not much is going one it's going to get coverage

i feel sorry for her - she looks like her dad

the album

i think gets better toward the end...loads of unexpected twists and turns. takes a while for it to hook you but once it does it really does.

Decibully: new-to-us indie talent touring the UK

they were also great at the Windmill last night; was talking to a few people after the show and they said they were going to go and see them again at the garage

Ryan Adams to release three albums in 2005

If God Loves Records he's Gonna Want To Fuck me In a Minute

Re: Dashboard Confessional's REM Covers Unleashed

the only thing i can think of that could possibly be worse than this is ryan adams covering oasis

Icarus Line: Tiny London Gig This Friday!

we've sold over 80 tix in advance which leaves space for about 80 on the door; i'd say get there early...The Icarus Line onstage @ 11

Re: Brave New Ideas #4: May 6th. London.

i have candidate :-)

The Icarus Line

erm..and - just announced - Friday 7th May at the Windmill Brixton plus Crash Convention, Disaster Plan B, The Wilderness Years and DJ s from Loose Lips magazine

Simple Kid - Truck On

it is down the windmill!!!

Pink - Just Like A Pill

OK Pink does go on a bit about herself but this song and the last single are fucking great. The rest of the album is horrible but the tracks produced by Dallas Austin (he did TLC) are brilliant. Listen to that DRUM sound....it's immense. The guy is a genius producer (unlike Linda 'drum machine' Perry who did the rest of the album.

RIAA h4xx0r3d!

Very good article Matthew and it seems like you beat a lot of other sites to it. Thanks...and it made me snigger
