it's nice

not stinking of smoke afterwards, however a very hot gig at the concorde in brighton a few weeks ago smelled like a rugby players chaging room, at that moment i'd rather have had the fag smell masking the sweat...

god knows...

maybe josh had to be in bed early

I'm not disputing who the gig was for...

I went to hear the new stuff live, and wasn't expecting the greatest hits but they could've played a longer set. They left the stage at 10.15! If they came back on and played three more new tracks or anything at all for that matter it would've made it a better gig for me...

I agree,

even though I loved what I saw and it's unlikely i'll see QOTSA in such a tiny venue ever again, it would have been nice to have an encore...

When I interviewed

Dan he said Rajaan had got married so didn't want to tour and leave his wife, maybe that was a cover up...I saw Dan play with David on bass last year and they were great...though I hope Dan will go back to performing solo.

Submerged

I agree, his sound was swamped by Plate Six. Dan is so much better solo, or backed by his friend Rajaan on drums.
