Over hyped bland rubbish!

Like their sound, not sure if the hype is warranted but then it could be a grower - 7/10 at the mo.

Love the Beach boys sound tho :)

Caught them in N'pton last night... First impressions were that they lived up to their tag of 'lively' with the singer ticking most 'rock n roll' starting points; getting in with the crowd, scaling the stage to sing/stage dive, fucking around alot!

The overall sound of the band was pretty tight, if abit repetitive, when good they were a 7, when not around a 4... will be interesting to see what else this band do in the future cos thier live act is worth checking out.

Going to see them tonight so can say more about their live appeal then...

As for the album, its pretty good if u like ur rock/indie with a slight southern twist, although it does tail off after the first 6 or so songs but which debut albums don't at the moment?!!

Was there for the Fri gig (wish it was the sat gig tho!!) and the sound was off, couldn't tell what songs Supergrass were playing which was a shame...tho this did improve by the time the Foos played.

The Foo's and namely Dave Grohl were on fire and the review is right to lament the enormity/impact it seemed to have on them/him!

Awesome live, although getting watered down more and more on record.. interested to see where they go with the next one?
