b) it's Jo and Danny

i look forward to enjoying a range of activists.

b) a venomous species of plant

2nd greatest Aussie band ever (after the Go-Bs). Beautiful Waste is worth owning for Field Of Glass alone.

R.E.M.'s MO is

to play a huge amount of classic old stuff on their American tour and replace it all with Arena friendly crap like Everybody Hurts on their European tour. Hopefully this won't happen this time around.

Re: Review of Drowned in Sound 5th Birthday Party

Hmmm, I've just re-read the review, written by my partner in crime JustHipper, and she slags off exactly 3 of the 11 bands on the bill. Which is nowhere near "pretty much every".

Review of Drowned in Sound 5th Birthday Party

You guys are slow.

There's a review of this rather enjoyable all-dayer on The Indie Credential.

C I am King Biscuit Time: Beta Band man returns

Saw KBT at the Night & Day last night and they were excellent. Played C I AM 15 twice (a disappointing choice for the lead single as everything else played sounded so much better), a brilliant solo acoustic version of Dr Baker and a chintzy dub version of Anarchy In The UK. I Walk The Earth was the highlight. New album will be well worth checking out.
