hmmmmm...
methinks eleven years is a bit wrong, no? Unless I completely imagined 'The Meadowlands', in which case, I'm gonna record it myself and become well popular.
156/180
Musical Magician.
I really don't understand the scoring system.
I think that if I'd had to defend
myself in the same argument over and over and over again as you have I would've lost the will to live long ago.
Kudos to you sir.
'False Cathedrals' is a brilliant album.
I also third Garrison's 'Be A Criminal' and give a shout for the follow up EP 'The Model' which was probably the best thing they ever did.
Awesome album.
It's barely been out of the stereo since I got it in December.
Where's Rachel Haden these days?
Also, is there any reason that you stopped touring with an additional keys player/backing vocalist?
Don't know about you but I
am really upset by the influx of pretend towns into this country.
What a cunt.
Wasn't
Antonio Costa in Blue?
Quite the interesting career tangent.
I always thought
of the Sanctuary label as where old bands went to die.
I'm not convinced
that he'll ever write a song as good as 'Cigarettes will kill you'.
I'm so glad
that Jetplane are back. I'm ridiculously excited about the fact that the new album should be dropping onto my doormat very soon.
it took a while..
first few listens passed me by without leaving any mark (except thinking that Atlas was needlessly bonkers). Now I am thinking that it's probably album of the year.
Have listened to
'Lungs Of Punk' five or six times now. It took a couple of listens but I absolutely love it. The stuff they played at Truck was great too.
The new album should be amazing.
!
They used to be a piss-poor classic rock by numbers band peddling their Who soundalike wares. It obviously didn't pay off.
Cue a hasty reinvention as Monkeys style street urchins and voila! The world loves you.
I'm not buying.
hmmm...
where does one apply for the vacant drum stool position?
this man speaks the truth
'No Sensitivity' is the dog's bollocks.

You can't class Hullabaloo as an album really.
Half b-sides compilation/half live LP.
