Fuck compression
its just crap production
no matter how loud you turn it up the drums still sound weak and the bass is threatening the foundations of your house.
And its not always possible to listen to an album ultra loud, no matter what romanicsed vision the band have of their fans.
Saying that, I still think the Fall of Math is an incredible album, as is the other two. And live theyre breathtaking. They just seem to take liberties a bit.
and i still dont understand their insistence
to record everything so it sounds like they were playing in a shed but left the microphones outside.
I preferred the pac man heads
but even that was a crap video
and this is the worst song off the ep
I never knew Worlds End Girlfriend was playing
I'm not going but if I was I would have just creamed.
I hope he doesn't find it and gives up music entirely.
But surely £750 is a bit meager.
this is an excellent review
if not purely for the use of 'brouhaha'
well worth an 8 as well.
looks like ghost in the shell
sounds like a GITS theme tune.
I like bretnwy now
This is good.
One of my favourite bands (probably the one that got me into the music i listen to today) and such a decent bunch of guys as well.
Still doing stuff ost people wouldnt dream of and making it work.
Tip top.
aha at Trowbridge
my home town
i imagine eva will be pressing many sexual harassment charges on many people
cannae wait
i must say
from that picture they look absolutely fantastic
but this IS what the kids are listening to
they also annoy me with their immense sceneness. despite trying so hard to be anti-scene.
apart from that i think theyre average.
not heard the new stuff though.
bang goes another good venue
i did think they were taking their time changing the name
wonder if it will have shit sound and layout like most other academys though
they are shockingly poor live though
and recorded
so its probably no major loss to the world

im a big 65 fan
but i was struck by the seeming pointlessness of this cd.
theres no new songs, even techno and drum n' bass have been doing the rounds live for a whil i think, and the setlist isnt particularly strong. and this collection of songs sound so similar to how they do on the original records that it ends up feeling more like a best of than a live album for me.
the dvd is really good though.
