I stand corrected
But, Guy Hands...
Seriously...
He's just made up those names.
No-one is called Guy Hands or Terra Firma.
I wonder if the lawsuit against Californication
will stealthily rise by $4.8m?
FINE!
But my comment still stands. :P
The series' last five minutes ain't so great,
But the series as a whole is very good.
And series two starts filming once Duchovny is done with X-F2.
Fun-ness.
I expect this'll get chucked out
And they'll just get some more exposure. And money.
Surely having a high-profile American show call itself after something you are fairly reknowned for coining would benefit them.
Oh, just fuck off, you useless, talentless cretins
And leave David alone.
I just bought for the Sunday.
Having never been able to see them first time around [being only 20 and all], this is going to be better than seing Sonic Youth.
If my ears don't bleed I shall lose all faith in humanity.
Oh, wait, there are tickets left for Monday.
Confusion. Panic. Confusion.
You spent £117 on a ticket?!
I'm about to get one for 30, I don't even care that it's Sunday.
I swear Mike has photoshopped
himself into those two look-a-like pictures. Or is it a default photo pose?
They weren't so bad at Asobi Seksu
Though the TVs weren't necessary, nor was the latter half of their set. The first few tracks they played were more than half-decent.
.
I don't think any words are needed to describe the brilliance of this.
Best interview evar?
^
Three Girl Rhumba. Just a plain stupid idea.
Good review. They infuriate me more than most.
Ditto...
Loveless would be a dream.
Haha, no comment
But I'm sure everyone would have watertight alibis, were it real.
Borrell, Lily Allen, Miquita Oliver, Jo Wiley...
all in one article. Here comes an angry headache.
Can we keep...
"If the charts were a noise this week..." as a reoccuring theme from now on?
Just me then.
Let him go solo-
Let's push his ego until his head actually explodes and we are rid of him forever.
I couldn't have put it better myself
Especially the part about this mentalist "Radiohead by numbers" critique which has been flying around. The sound is so intricate, rich and layered, and if it can be put into a formula, they should be praised for possessing and utilising it so well. "By numbers" my arse, BBC, this is hardly your average.
I'd settle for seeing them even being half-arsed
As opposed to this-not having seen them.
Sigh.
I'm kind of glad,
As Frank said: there doesn't need to be one. Mind you, they didn't need to reform either, especially since it was so half-arsed and unenthusiastic. They could have conceivably produced something else brilliant if they weren't too busy at each others throats or just wanted to.
This said, I was happy clutching my Surfer Rosa and Doolittle records tightly.
If...
this beats Blonde Redhead's "23" for the best album of the year come December, I shall be most unhappy.
I'd happily have Pete eclipse In Rainbows newswise
Providing of course it was concerning a suicide of sorts.
I was too young...
To see Daydream Nation live the first time round, and this was a great chance to see something I otherwise wouldn't have.
"It's nice."
Athlete being nice gets a 4/10 any day of the week.
I second that statement...
...I saw them play it at the end of a gig they did at the Bristol Thekla. T'were incredible live too.
That example of hilariously bad spelling...
...Gives us another reason to scoff at the worst post in history.
Dr. Fünke’s 100% Natural Good-Time Family-Band Solution...
...drew obvious influences from SY, non?
If you did actually refer to is as ShuRave...
...Then I just threw up in my own mouth.
.

And M83 for that matter.
Shoetronica circa 2007?
Ulrich Schnauss will be hurt.
Deeply hurt.
Good band though, anything to keep shoegaze alive sits well in my mind.
...
I think maybe the bottom line is their first two records are undeniably outstanding, and you'd expect them both to stand the test of time. After those two...well, I suppose a comment isn't really necessary.
As for the future, I expect Noel will escape at some point, taking the talent with him on the solo road. Either that or they'll continue until Liam dies [at the further detriment of British music].
Good article btw.
I think 6....
...Might be a bit generous. Even as a Stripes fan, this is prime 'Do Not Want' crap.
Good review by the way. Ignore the stick, Alex
NO...
..It's an ILLUSION!
But....
...Them?

A tour as well?
We're spoilt rotten.
