well
ive guessed two correctly so far.
lets hope the other 45 have some of the ones i mentioned or i'll look stupid.
i can't wait for
Trencher - Lips
which is also out next month
he had all his electrical stuff
nicked a while back
earlier on this year.
his laptop and drum machine or something.
then why doesnt he
make sure his next building wont fucking collapse because of sound waves?!
Our Andys Records
shut down this year :(
rip-off merchants though
although all we've got now is a music zone, which has the CD selection of my younger brothers music rack
i got bug
and on the first few listens, i can say its fantastic
i'll get the other one next
cheers :)
ok well if i say
my favourite bands ever are Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Weezer and Pearl Jam, do you reckon Bug would be the right way to go?
there really are some fucking harsh bastards around
on another hand, recommend me a Dinosaur Jr. album to start with
was it not the
minus the bear drummer that filled in last time?
or was that another time
actually it's rather north
and about 4 hours away from birmingham, which is also counted as midlands
the lucida console
aren't midlands based
they're from my town halifax
outskirts of leeds in west yorkshire
it's not the american Halifax
it's my halifax, the one i live in, in west yorkshire.
it was in the evening courier (our local paper)
thats well bad
if i got that close to japan and got turned away, i'd boo my eyes out.
i actually just gasped when i read
wrightlew's comment
im a chubby-smelly-big-fringed-17 year old
:(
dang those photos
you can only see my arm. in the last one with the bassist.
cracking review
pretty much summed up my lightning bolt experience in leeds.
on that note, does anyone from leeds have any pictures?
its a shame
because every friend ive spoken to, and every review is see say BSP are amazing live.
and when i saw them they were the biggest let down ever, even though they were my favourite band at the time.
i think to venue/sound played a big part in that though.
they just seemed really distant too :(
i think they're much better live
much heavier anyway. they dont give off any sort of heaviness on record, but they play in drop C i think, and live they're really beastly and meaty
THAT FUCKING TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The Pigeon Detectives:
"Complete Strokes Rip-off"
no?
haha
uber spaz out from music mincer
go to
you can order it for £6.50 incl p&p
very much worth your money.
they spend all their profit on poppers and crack though
listen to
a third sweep the leg album
or make some circle takes the square
i fucking love this band
they're amazing live.
surprised you reviewed it really.
and they hardly charge full price for it though, i got mine for £6, which id say is a fair price for a mini-album.
the first "album" is amazing
i cant wait to see them with Lightning Bolt and DJ Scotch Egg, it should be one insane night
haha i dont mind P!ATD
yes they're cheesy
yes they're shit
yes it's all been done a million times, and it will definately be done again.
but fuck me they have some catchy choons
