not heard the actual album

but all the demos/singles/live performances of those songs are ace, so i bet its great

erm, might be out of order

but any chance you might be able to send it me? im a massive fan of them and tank, i'd love to hear it.

also, are there any pictures about from the single launch yet? a lot of people seemed to be taking pictures, id like to see them

i didnt realise KY have an album?

is it recorded and unreleased?

i was gutted this 7" wasn't ready for the single launch, kind of defeated the point of launching the single

however, iv seen the tank loads of times and with giles they were taken to a completely different level, was an awesome gig

sorry if i was too harsh, i'll feel bad now

maybe bad sound or something?

i dont know, it was the meneguar show in leeds.

i thought cowtown and meneguar sounded really good because they played on the floor, but shittalker, jupiter lander and you all sound a bit... flat and lifeless

10/10?!

they must be much better on record, because live they were boring as FUCK

arrrrrrrrghhhhhhhh

omg

well

a) there is no picture
b) i saw this aint vegas two nights later in leeds and they were phenomenal.

we blatantly saw different bands

i'm sorry

this "DiScover Feature"

whatever

this review is the perfect example of eating ones words

haha

check out DiS totally licking arse and regretting that album review now they actualy realise he's great, and sounds fuck all like incubus

haha

my first band supported Five Knuckle

class band

had the pleasure of seeing and playing with them a few times

awesome lineup

so glad im getting to play with so many ace bands

i made loads of mistakes in that rant

:(

you know what i mean though...

i was born at the beginning of 1989

im 18 (for those slow in the head)

Sonic Youth are my favourite band.

i think its amazing that i saw one of my favourite albums/bands ever, which was written and made before i was even born! such an amazing oppurtunity, and i enjoyed every second of it, including the encore full of mostly new album material, which i also love.

Even though love Murray Street and Sonic Nurse, material from those 2 albums still gets played regularly in recent SY sets, whereas the stuff from Daydream Nation has barely seen the light of day in the last decade, and we also got Shaking Hell on the thursday, which (apart from these special Daydream Nation gigs around the world) has not been played in a very long time.

awesome

they're playing Leeds.

does Nasty Fest usually sell out quick?

Deerhunter are good too.

haven't the tracks names for this album

been about since it leaked about 2 or 3 months ago?

it's definately not a 10/10

i'd probably go for 8/10

infact, i wouldnt even care if the guy kept it at 6/10, as long as he talked some sense in his review!

haha what a shite review.

someone can't write.

also, i've just noticed

oxford you lucky fucks!

MMISL, the paper chase AND cutting pink

nice little read

might go see them at the drydock. never heard them, but it's free entry apparently.

woah

beasties, bjork, stooges, sonic youth, JAMC, deerhoof, modest mouse

:O

woah

im definately gonna be at leeds now.

i wasn't going to bother, but this has swayed it...

ordered

sweet as.

fuck

i think im actually going to have to go to this.

i live across the otherside of the country, but nevermind

yeah i'd give it an 8 too.

saw them last night in manchester, and they played pretty much the whole of this album, and it sounds so fucking beautiful live.

hahaha

i described this song as a foo fighters b-side yesterday to my mate

great minds think alike.

this is a great album

i know what you mean about the YYY thing as well.

they didnt sound at all like them live.

but on record they remind me of them, even though they shouldnt, wierd...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

why does god hate me so. confirming all my favourite bands when i have no one to go with :(

i hope LSF do a UK tour to coincide with this, or i'll boo.

i reckon DiS should do an article on

the alldayer my mate and me are putting on:

http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l1/healenpix/treeprint.jpg

This Aint Vegas, Kill Kenada, These Monsters etc...

yeah, who the fuck is Mark Bell?

surely you mean Brian Chippendale and Brian Gibson

anyone read Ben Eltons

newest book Chart Throb?

the way he totally rips the piss out of the osbournes is pretty amazing

i'm pretty sure it's

fifteen part 2

not fifteen point 2

haha

brilliant

:D

i don't care about

gay lazor lambs

DID THEY PLAY GIANT SWAN?

STOP WRITING

please!

what an awful, cheesy, wanky review

i really, really like the album

one of the best out this year.

i thought they were really fucking good when i saw them in january supporting jeniferever, but i saw them on sunday supporting MTB and the sound was shite. it's no wonder alot of people don't like them, if id never heard them before sunday id have passed them off as total shit. the live shows definately vary...

and, muse?!

why is it given?

there has been rumours that james won't do it, and the old janes addiction bassist is playing.

id love it if it were melissa and james though.

i saw this band

support forward russia upstairs in the cockpit a year or 2 ago

horrendous

truly awful strokes/libertines rip off that cared more how they looked on stage than how they sounded.

it's not quite clicked with me yet

unfortunately...

i thought crimes was a bit poo.

but i love burn piano island, burn

the new one is definately better than crimes, but there is something about it that isn't agreeing with me, i never feel like listening to it, i have to force myself...

i do want to like it though, there is something about it that feels like it'll be a grower, but its not quite there yet with me

this EP is amazing

one of my favourites releases this year.

it's insane that they can play so fast at that age.

that's a good list!

id agree with pretty much everyone of them

except i cant believe you chose how strange, innocence over the earth is not a cold, dead place!

love apple

is also a vegetarian/noodle bar :D

hottest girl on the planet

in lost in translation

oh wait

you ARE paul marshall

;(

oooh

a username after a Paul Marshall song.

i like you already

i love this single

and the band.

although i perhaps think the last single (and its b-side) "signal noise" were better than this one

nooooooooooo

i meant the singer from pkll has quit pkll

he's nothing to do with enter shikari i dont think

i just mentioned them because they're supporting

hahahahahahahahaha

ross (the singer) has quit Penknifelovelife

fooking gutted
