yes it was
Winston Echo
FTW
but really
only bamos.
I would love to go to the
Hope Is Important & 100 Broken Windows nights. I would love to hear Low Light live. Scotland is a bit too far for me though.
I was really hoping for more from
Blackened Sky :(
I made the mistake of missing Metallica at Reading 03
I will NOT be making that mistake this year.
you know
I used to think that was a good album, looking back . . . not so much.
My Fav is High Voltage
followed by Highway to Hell
High Voltage is faultless.
This is the best news I've had for AGES
First I get to see RATM now AC/DC!
I wanted to go to this so much
I ended up not being able to get tickets and being dragged to see Hanson (you heard me) by my best friend. I better get tickets for the world tour!
what if you're already
on the mailing list?
I want to go to this
sooooooooooooo much :(
Very VERY Excited!
GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!
I like the single
I can't wait to see them live again too.
Milk It
I was offered a ticket today to see the Foos on Sat. £60? No thanks. I've see them a bunch of times before, best ever was at the Astoria after Reading 2002.
Hmmmmm
I haven't heard this one yet, but from the "Bragg is synonymous with excruciating, rain-sodden trips to places like Swindon and back" I'm getting the vibe you maybe didn't like the earlier stuff either? I love most of the back catalogue and will defo still give this one a go as I have a feeling we might differ in our opinions of Bragg big style.
wow, that pretty much sucks
would love to see Spiritualized though.
A great year:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1997_in_music
my memories are steeped in music though. I've never been good at listening objectively when it comes to my music memories. I was 15, happy and this music was the soundtrack to those great times.
YEY!!!!!!!!!
And I get paid on Fri! I think I'll go to Soton date.
Oh man!
RATM & REM! Why do I have no money? PLEASE PLAY READING!
what vagina thread?
Did I miss something? Surely the post-zonino thread would be in there?
Coxon's solo career was probably better
when he WAS in Blur. Damon always seemed to manage too. I'm sure if they set up a studio on Alex's farm they could all find time to fit their extracurricular activities in.
maybe you're not
but do you shout "bollocks" and set fire to tents?
I really thought I'd never go back to Reading
BUT if RATM are playing I AM THERE! Just for the one day though, I can't face a weekend of evil little drunk teenagers.
AAaaarrrrrggggh
SCHOOL NIGHT!
Jo'burg isn't ALL bad
there are just certain areas that you know to avoid and then the city centre after dark is a big NO, even just driving through. Generally it's understood that you can skip red lights, if it's safe to do so, at night, esp if you're a lone woman. Jo'burg is huge with many suburbs that are mostly safe.
Happy Birthday
I think it's actually customary for you to supply us with cake.
YEY!
:)
I LOVE
Kyuss. Kyuss led me to QOTSA.
as am I!
woohoo!
they do that AWFUL
tippy toes song *shudder*
I shall be going to this
Disappointed Enjoy Destroy are supporting though, saw them support HI4Hs and they were dull.
Horatios!
There's always karaoke on, even on a Sunday afternoon.
I love that slapping game
but I'm a wuss and always move my hands away too quick.
Brilliant! Great news!
I wonder why Graham relented though.
and
Jesus wept.
So jealous.
I wish I could have been there for RATM! I hope this isn't the last we've seen of them.
I shall purchase
my old copy is getting too worn anyhoo.
Standing on the
rooftops everyone scream your heart out!
Sorry.
Tim Wheeler . . .
hott, no?
I think I might
go to this. First time I'll see them without Charlotte. Finally back to how it was meant to be.
agree
vomit inducing.
See I told you!
and you got a good review. Still angry with me?
