it was ace

I was there... apart from the long queues at the bar, it was amazing. A scream set (being stood about 4 rows from the incredibly beautiful bobby) then a MC5 set, then a set with all of 'em, together, really enjoying themselves. It was fantastic.

You lot just aren't used to enjoying yourselves. You should go stroke your beards at the back of a bad local folk gig. Leave us to have fun without having to endure your moany little faces. :)

who?

Sorry, who is Evil Dildo and the lemonheads? I've never been to good with names, but I remember faces.

I keep thinking

we're on your wall. :)

your

Face.

My Arse.

This is why I love DiS

Half of you have missed the humour, half of you have missed the point. ha!

Get you lot together and it'd be dangerous :D

sorry...

...doesn't he panic at many discos? Or fall out of enough boys?

Go cut yourself :)

ha!

I love Chris TT, he's as far from talentless as you can get and as lovely as a warm chocolate cake.

However, I'm totally up for mass DiS fighting, most the people on here could do with a spank from time to time. Who is Mr KK anyway? Why should I care about a bloke one K away from a pointy hat?

TT, if you need anyone to hold your pint while you spank the Dis-scenester, I'm your woman.

Skill...

Just got it, best few quid I've spend in ages. And it's white label so I can sell it on and make loads of money when they make it big :D

BIS?

Were you all deaf in the 90's? They were shocking.

sugar sugar candy pop

I hated Bis. I'm loving AWWBLOT.

Just thought I'd mention that.

Re: Don't Fall Out, Boys - Killers dig their detractors

I liked the Killers album. Brusma's right, they get everything else wrong, but some of the tunes are good.

Re: Jet on new album: "five times better than Get Born"

I quite liked that roll over DJ song. They're alright.

Re: I hate the Marquee

But everyone sits at the back, the band play to an empty room and you feel a plonker if you stand near the front centre. If there's a seat I'll sit.

Incredibly rude and grumpy girls on the door too.

Stand by it. I hate the marquee :-)

Re: Blunt is broke

when did cunt's become evil anyway? I quite like mine, I like it a lot actually.

Re: Blunt is broke

woud you let me know when the reader's digest version of that post is available? What was the gist?

Re: Blunt is broke

At least he's thinking of dying, that's got to be a positive.

Re: Camden's Koko scoops venue award

But I rely on bad lighting to get a snog.

Kentish town forum is a venue with far too much light, not good for a girls pulling plans.

Re: Camden's Koko scoops venue award

you could get toated sandwiches at Union chapel too. I like sandwiches.

Re: Camden's Koko scoops venue award

lol! I hate writing lol it makes you look like you sped too much time texting/emailing, but lol I did.

(btw lol)

Re: Camden's Koko scoops venue award

oooo... and I hate the Electric Ballroom even more, they oversell that place.

God, yet another splinxy bad mood :-)

Re: Camden's Koko scoops venue award

Dublin castle was always my fav, when the stage was the other side and the drink was cheap, and all my favs played, before I got too old to keep up.

Koko's another of those over done up - too much security type places. Good if you're 15 or 45 (as either your mum would feel safe letting you go there, or you can get a nice sit down respectively) Fortunately I'm neither.

I hate the Marquee

I hate the Marquee, just thought I'd mention that.

I mean, c'mon, tables in front of the stage? Cocktails being served? Fancy panty loos? And Leicester Square why would anyone want to go into Leicester Square?

It's all that's wrong with the world...

Re: Brakes & Chris T-T

The king of the startled bunny is our Chris T-T

Re: The Pipettes' Dirty Mind: new single scheduled

I don't have a cock. But I do have a sense of humour.

They're refreshing, light and enjoyable.

I played some of their songs at work and everyone hated them calling them Japanese shite. Hmmm, look more like brighton people than asian. But I work in advertising so everyone's a bit of a cock.

Re: The Pipettes' Dirty Mind: new single scheduled

Yes there's boys. Cute ones too.

Re: The Pipettes' Dirty Mind: new single scheduled

They're all gorgeous. And I liked their new dresses. The old ones were starting to fall apart :-)

Cargo was indeed full of scenesters weren't it? pretty ones though.

Beans on toast fab. Holloway road is next gig apparently. Research were as great as usual. Dustins were a nice surprise, yet another band to stalk. Louis weren't as good as I remember, but still great.

Fab day out. And thank god the drinks were so expensive. I was wasted as it was. Apologies everyone.

Much respect to the girl and boy dancing to Love & pain in the break before the Research. I was incredibly impressed with their skill and energy.

Re: Head girls heart jazz: Cullum goes to school

the best song was the outro in my book... It's the only time I ever chuckle on the tube.

Re: Brakes & Chris T-T

oh, so that Brakes - brighton's only supergroup - not the one from the festival then :(

Brakes & Chris T-T

is that The Brakes or Brakes supporting Chris T-t? We were drinking with a band at the Denmark street festival called Brakes, officially we were their first ever fans :-) I would like to see them play...

Re: You click on, you're clicked off: MPH ads bann

define political.

ridiculous. But I would have banned them based on them containing smug wealthy celebrities. Make Moss History.

Re: Dr Dog fly in, go straight to gig

god! Umlaut were cringe worthy. The bassit was so uncomfortable looked like they were about to die from embarrassment. It was like watching a 6th form band in your local scout hut.

Dr.dog - very funny. Good showmen. Enjoyed.

Prego - every single one of their fans smokes. It was unbearable. Couldn't breathe in there. Only stayed for one song before the heart and lungs gave up. They seemed very dull based on that song...

There. My review. Don't bother seeing Prego or umlaut unless they're your mates and you enjoy scout huts.

:-)

Re: Guillemots - I Saw Such Things In My Sleep EP

I was very impressed saturday, mildy embarrassed by the solo chair standing. But impressed. Not sure about bands with double basses always seems a little pretentious when a guitar would do the job... but I'll let them off.

Re: Dr Dog fly in, go straight to gig

Someone please tell me something about dr.dog... are they worth the bus ride to dublin castle?

Re: Free DiS Matinee Gig in London this Saturday

Thought the Guillemots were fab. Very funny. Was a tiny bit embarrassed by the solo number - didn't quite know where to look... Would definetely see them again.

Sing along with Alan McGee at new club night

Hey Lordscopie! We also think it sounds like a poor relation to 'club beer' which is the one and only drunken party to go to.
