I think the moral is:
If you like DnB surely you know where to look…(Hospital, Virus, Metalheads etc etc…and a gazillion other independant DnB labels.)
to which users response was...
"yep goodbye then..."
good times :-)
Go on any drum n bass forum
...you will see that distaste for pendulum has exsisted for a very long time.
so much so that the main man from pendu came on and told the whole of DOA to fuck off (in a round about way) and asked for his own account to be deleted.
Agreed to the points in the article
£160+ is officially too much for me. And then there’s transport to pay for, and then beer and food costs (which only seem to increase with each year.)
Not knowing who's playing is no incentive.
Last glasto was a pain…too busy (and muddy). Packed on Wednesday afternoon…I use to feel like part of the elite for getting there on the Wednesday and being there for 5 days…but this I think has now become the norm i.e. Wednesday afternoon and hardly anywhere to camp…we were struggling…we ended up camping next to some toffee nose twats enjoying grapes, cheese and wine whilst listening to coldplay…complaining that our tent was too close to theirs…yeh, completely in the spirit of Glastonbury (!).
I don’t read the NME at all anymore nor do I check out the bands that are mentioned on DiS anymore so it would probably be a weekend wasted on me.
I don't think this is a World Exclusive.
i reckon Nigeria couldn't give a sh*t same goes for Madagasgar and Sri Lanka.
£282,923,904!!! after a tour
Crikey...i think we grossed £20
he may have won many awards...
But i really don't think Morgan Freeman is right for this.
must be my age or summat.

M.I.A = winner.
Done.
Also possibly Skream 'Skream', genre defining album, but it doesn't appear to get a mention here.
Saw this guy play last month
it was music tech max/msp user centric, sound designers etc
i dunno if i could sit through more than 1 hour of it, though interesting, i don't think it works live.
mind you everybody was sat at dining tables in a hall, which was quite apt.

Festivals
They’re growing in popularity and coverage more so than ever, Going to a festival, seems to be “the thing” i.e. its becoming fashionable to go to one. fashionable pop idol types walkin around with phones stuck in their ears with no festival spirit (what ever that was).
I was told at Glastonbury by some girl that I’d pitched my tent to close to theirs. Absolute moron.
.
I would have gone for the Spunky Cock© personally but this seemed very pretty in the flesh.
innit, fuckin freeloaders...
headline should be "Bunch of Gippo's Steal Your SkillZ, Dress It Up As An Exciting Oppourtunity"
Mainstages at any festival,
are never hosts to new innovative/great bands, so contemplating their worth against other festival headliners is pointless, but I suppose it’s down to what you’re after, this will be my 3rd time there and I can honestly say I’ve probably seen max 3 bands on the main stag at glasto…I am off to glasto next week, and will be spending most of my time (as I expected, round the dance tent, jazz world stages, basically the smaller stages…for the electronica/drum n bass etc) noisia, adam f shitmat, squarepusher et al…
Difference with glasto and other festivals, is that I won’t be treated like a school child prior to entering the “arena” , searched and stripped of bottles of water, cans of alcohol etc…glasto, im free to roam around, go back and forth to my tent without any interrogation.
The headline acts are less than 10% of all the bands playing, and even less of the event it’s self, if you’re in it for the big headliners/big named bands playing throughout…then perhaps reading or Leeds is probably a better option.
God, it’s gonna rain, so much!
Adam F, Shitmat, !!!,
Biffy Clyro ...but still, noisia and squarepusher!
Innit...brilliant line-up according to guardian...
but what made me wet was...Squarepusher and Noisa... thats enough for me.
the main stages are generally dogXballs, the smaller stages are where its at for me...but what made me most wet was just finding out that sqaurepusher and Noisia are both playing!!!
Get Out!

Do it!
For the money. Make Money not Art.
MONEY MONEY MONEY!
Maximise returns within the quickest time possible with the least amount of pressure on your constituency, then invest your profits further into the shares of those companys which paid you. Sell at 25% turnerover on the shares. quit the band kill your parents and by a chrome microwave!

Just gonna stick on some 'Horse the Band'
the musician in leicester

don't be a wet blanket...
it's gonna be alot of fun.
i think the only irony will be in that we are all dissapointed at the fact that it may actually be a good film
but what are the chances
i mean
snakes? on a plane?
although he was no longer doing anything
this is still sad news
i imagine the record companys will be using this as an oppurtinity to re-issue his solo albums, maybe?
why did this article become an argument?
i will just add...
that stupid people...are stupid...because they're stupid
i didn't see that big brother episode or BBLB, but do you not think those questions where made up to make the contestants look like fools?
houman1981, it's just as snob-ish to come onto a forum, trying to educate people with how you think it's best to talk about something thats ultimately quite hilarious
the new stuff they're playing
is epic.
lets not forget 3rd

@ boo121, what you say applies to everything but...
If pendulum made another ‘hold your colour’ I don’t think it wouldn’t have gone at all well on the current DnB Scene, as above people especially DnB community’s dislike them lots prior to this album, the fact that they’re making ’Jump Up’ style DnB shows just how relevant they are to current DnB.
they never tried anything new, it's still jump up and guitar riffs by numbers crap.
