Re: Pete Doherty: The Shambolic Waster
yea, i'm sure i commented on this article before as i recall how much annoyed me when i just re-read it.
Clearly written by a moralistic idiot. And anyway i don't see why the Brain Clough comparsion was made either.

Re: Band bitchin' - Kaisers et al hit back at Oasi
That could work, yes. Or 'it could be argued', or 'in my opinion'.
Re: The Independent pick top 10 venues - what're yours?
I was just gonna say that the Astoria is one of London's top venues...
Patti Smith Meltdown: Cat Power, Orton, O'Connor, Shields, Bragg, Yoko, Flea, Cale...
is there a William Blake theme? Explain. I know Billy Bragg had an album called William Bloke, but he's really started to irrate me the past few years.
Re: Drunken nights, lagered fights - what's your f
yea, i meant Subway City.
Re: Drunken nights, lagered fights - what's your f
Although i've been there a few times and know Birmingham well, i actually have no idea where it is!
Re: SFA announce May tour and new LP
Coventry is about near enough for me.
Re: Tom Vek - We Have Sound
You should go to Rock Box in Camberly, mate. Probably my favourite shop in the world ever.
Re: McRap: burger chain offers bonuses to Mac-munching
haha. Very funny sir!
Re: Million Dead - Living The Dream
I think it should chart, yes. Obviously The Charts are pretty much meaningless but MD have worked hard to be a decent fanbase. I'll tune in to see if they make it.
Re: Quasi tour in April
No Portsmouth show for Quashie? Judas...;-)
Re: Data Panik: BiS by any other name...
this is amazing news!!!!
Re: The Others - The Others
Good review by the way. I like the Northern Uproar ref. I was thinking pretty much the same cos i think they'll fade away just like These Animal Men and S*M*A*S*H
Re: The Others - The Others
well it hasn't been used before so i spose it is 'original' yes
Re: The Rakes to tour 'Strasbourg' via London and beyond
they play a different 'love' song everyday as part of the Lunchtime Lovers feature. It was great to hear it!
Re: Kasabian - L.S.F.
i don't like this band. Manc wannabes i say
Re: A&R men get busy: bands signed, champagne is d

Re: The Libertines - The Libertines
i agree.
So this Jared has a first degree, eh? Big fucking deal!
He comes across as a tad bitter. And he has, dare i say, made himself look a bit silly.

Re: 'But they can't get popular!' Syndrome
well this very true. I have to say i have suffered from this syndrome too in the past. But in many cases the bands 'sell-out' to become famous and so become rubbish
Re: Face For Radio (UK) - Split 7"
oh yea! that was pretty obvious wasn't it?
Re: Face For Radio (UK) - Split 7"
i thought they were from Wolverhampton not Teeside?
Another One Bites The Dust...
Firstly, i don't know whether this band are any good or not. But i have to say they sort of had it coming by signing to a major label who can't afford to sit and see a band progressive cos they need instant sales. recently it has been a shame to see Kinesis dropped from their label when clearly all they have to potential to carry on improving
Re: The Concretes - The Concretes
i like the single - heard it on Jo wiley's show.
I'll reserve judgemnet for now tho...

Re: Hundred Reasons Split From The Man

thisGIRL: Album News + Tour + Support Lost Prophets
