Hmm indeed

i thought i was the only one on this site who feel like foals take the piss a bit with their eearly q and not u fixation! add a few saxophones won't make it any less obvious!

I thinks it's a mixed bag

there are some real zzzzz Radiohead moments but, there are some AMAZING tracks too. Weird Fishes and House of Cards probably my favourites so far..

Saw GZA at the Pitchfork

ATP night, he was awesome, even played some Wu Tang and ODB songs. Also really excited about Sebadoh - amazing album

Everything the MSP have done

since The Holy Bible has been embarassing toss, and i wish they would go away and find some new despotic tin-pot regime to endorse..and not tell us about it.

Shame no smaller venue

for London. Saw them at Pitchfork, even though they were great, didn't really work outside. Hopefully a smaller show!!

Am i retarded

for never having even heard of these guys??

I agree with the

first sentiment> Yeasayer are definately not punk, neither trendy (i mean, fretless bass WTF!?)nor do they sound like anything around at the moment IMO. True, the drum machine was fairly horrible at some points and some of the lyrics were crap. Frankly, i should have hated this band, but i really enjoyed it. Something different from all the frowns and four-on-the-floor drumbeats (yes..Foals i meean you).

Pete Doherty...zzzzzzzzzzz

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Pete Doherty live from Wormwood Scrubs anyone? The most cliched parody of the fallen rock star manque of our times......

Sorry guys...

but so far i see nothing that separates this band from being a poor man's version of: Battles, Q and Not U and (first singer) Hot Hot Heat. However the new Sitek produced stuff sounds more interesting...
