You just nicked that wedding idea from Pitchfork
You lazy, lazy man.
I like The Drones. I'm going to see them supporting Band of Horses in New York City next month! Which is nice.
MAMA LUIGI!
Sorry.
this mini-album plays itself in my head most days
and i can't get it out. so many great hooks and sonic treats. it's brilliant! great band. <3
too much love
but also too much sorrow. i am going to be in the new york area in november. can't they just have their party then? curses.

lords, polaris and the unit ama. only 22 bucks!
oneida

"Sex Change is underplayed and underappreciated"
You said it, lady. Whoever you are.
touch & go
as far as i know
yo yo yo
Will the track be 8 minutes do you think?
Dunno. Who you talking to?
End of Radio
is scary. Well, that Peel Session is.
Why are they releasing on a Tuesday?
OH WOW
I ALSO LIKE THEIR PROFILE PICTURE ON MYSPACE.
I AGREE WITH YOU
and post additional notions of excitement about hearing this as I have not done so yet.
News does not get better than this.
My tickets for Dingwalls have been purchased and slobbered over the appropriate amount of times and I am even refusing to download advance copies of this on Soulseek.
ALSO:
Seb Thomson's solo project Publicist is playing at Bardens' this Thursday! He's the nicest man in the world! AND AMAZING. www.myspace.com/thenameispublicist
I can't believe how close it is!
That Saturday night on the centre stage is ludicrous!
I think our friend summed culprit one up very well by just going
AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH into his hands repeatedly.
This was the best gig I have been to this year. After Lightning Bolt and Battles Luminaire, natch.
This was fantastic
Almost too fantastic really.
YEEEEEEEEEEAH!
I can't wait.
Yay!
You & The Atom Bomb are brilliant and whilst I am still getting into this album I have to say that Mudwig Bahnhoff is, like, my song OF THE YEAR.
:'(
I missed out on what seems like a dozen opportunities to see him live and now I totally regret it. This is really, really sad. RIP.
I don't think anything could make me as happy as this news has.
Actually, a new Fugazi album would but for now at least we can look forward to Joe Lally's solo LP in October.
BEST LIVE BAND EVER. NOTFICTION.
I met her afterwards as she is friends with my mate's girlfriend.
I swooned.
They/she were/was stunningly excellent and, for all her 'kookiness', she still succeeded in being tangible in the loveliness whilst at the same time being utterly enchanting. And I hardly ever gush about female artists (for some unknown reason).
True that.
Not that I liked Helmet that much anyway. I just imagine once you've had John, and you lose him, what are you? Not as good as you were, that's for sure.
Ah, John.
What about Seb Thomson though eh?
What a goddamn hero! I got to meet him after and told him bashfully that he was one of my favourite drummers and he was really pleased! He said there's a new Trans Am album almost ready too and that they'd be touring over in spring!
I quite liked Dead Kids in places. There were moments of real sleazy, ballsy sex-funk punk. Which was nice.
Does anyone else think that they, like, totally
ripped off Millionaire with their new stuff?
Or, at least, that the new stuff is, like, totally Millionaire-esque?
I love Millionaire.
I HATE CocoRosie
and foolishly bought their debut a while back. This makes up for those forever lost pounds and makes me feel less angry about CocoRosie in general. It is fantastically eerie and dense and wends so sort of oozing journey when headphoned. I love it.
Rebus ARE usually good.
Accessible and unabashed indie pop but GOT accessible and unabased indie pop.
I love Rebus.
twice the capacity?
by that do you mean twice the tickets sold, or literally twice and space (which wouldn't make space as you said that the venues wouldn't be much bigger)?
yours confusedly...
P.s.
Does anyone know if there's going to be a massive increase in how many tickets are sold? Or is it being kept to the 2,500 (whatever it was)?
Yeah.
I am going to this. I will be missing all the support bands and then not getting a good spot upstairs and then getting furious about bad sound AGAIN. Hurrah.
You what?
Oh, crikey.
Must book tickets.
Also: YEAH! And stuff.
I am too excited.
That's it. I am doing no more work. And I work in immigration, you see THIS IS WHY there's a backlog...
In terms of ATP, I am looking forwards (perhaps even craning my neck) to see... umm...too much to list actually. Most of it. Dead Meadow, Sleater Kinney, Mission Burma, Teenage Fanclub, The Gossip and Lightning Bolt.
The Tortoise better not take up all the hanging space in the cupboard this time. UGH!
Delete that...
... Ticketweb say the 21st. At Cargo that is. UGH! I am not here.
Oh, um, also...
apparently playing Cargo in London on Friday 28th?
Don't quote me.

interestingly the bitrate offered for the download was only 160
does this bother anyone who can't be bothered to fork out the £40 for the full package? i know the album will be released properly in time but some people may think this lower quality is a bit of a pisstake.
