this weekend I went from 'fond of' to 'absolutely convinced they are among the best things ever'. De Montfort Hall was built for them. Which you have to admit was impressive foresight on behalf of the architects.

Still. Wow.

1) nobody in Leicester sounds like they come from the same city as Tom Meighan

2) this turd came from the same band that made me think perhaps they were ok cause over 50% of their debut was actually pretty good.

the artwork, and i like 'Unfinished Business' so I'm going to investigate, ok?

deserves a mention for being the best song that I can think of that my dad will listen to at the minute.

but personally I've had a wonderful year in 2008 musically, its like a billion bands that do exactly what I want them to do have turned up, and I'm very happy. Hooray.

i'd be convinced that i was Sean. Replace them with Metronomy, and I'm there.

but when I got offered a ticket I'd already given up on getting one and got a ticket to see Dylan Moran in Leicester, subsequently ruining that event by sitting through it wishing I was here :(

haven't considered listening to another album whilst driving since that came out.

high water mark no exceded, i'll give you that, but plenty of good followed.
