listened to youth and young manhood today for the first time in years, its amazing.the last album wasnt great hope this one can compete with the first 2
will.
there be any more demos from the 60s or 70s? , dissapointing if not, they were the best.not sure if i will get this or not
.
yea had it a while now, i downloaded it must have leaked a good while ago, great album
great band
but think there is better songs on the album....what i just said is very stereotypical but its how i feel
its like some crazy folk techno
an epic band, but i never grew to like jacquis voice.went to see john renbourn in athlone very little people there enjoyed myself although i was on my own and a raffle half way.the raffle made it the best night ever!!! i thought i was going to win but i didnt ,i wasnt dissapointed the suspence was great

.
that video is priceless
.
they played in our su(maynooth) a month or so ago and not much people turned up apparantly, i was too poor to afford it. would have liked to have seen them though
.
i like the song "nothing in common" when he talks about grease, classic
avey tare flu
i went to see them last night and they only played one 3 songs off their albums. avey tare then left the stage without saying anything and geologist had to make excuses for him animal collective set finished early but panda bear played from person pitch "good girl" from his album then something else i hadnt heard of.deacon wasnt there either.but having said that it was a good gig, but didnt get to hear any songs i was familar with, i would be a big fan and i have their last 3 albums i was slightly disapointed but i am sure i will see their full set in a festival sometime
classic
^^^^
classic mighty boosh episode......
wheres me jumper??
looking forward to electric picnic tomorrow it has a true festival vibe and everybody is really friendly.capacity is 35,000 and it doesnt change over the years . mainly about the music but there is still alot of gimmicky things that distract you from the music.its also a boutique festival like bestival.cost me 220 euros,(less than 200 pounds) for the ticket and the weather is suposed to be good.line up is amazing!!!
?
daniel johnston cover would be interesting to hear.but he gets covered alot though
why cant we have pizzas on a sunday like everyone else?
yea, should be an excellent album.you can download the hand that held me down and despite what you have been told on the saddle creek website its a complilation download with other artists from saddle creek.heres a youtube video i mad of despite what you have been told, its just collection of 2gs pics......http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=K4yVrDWqEww
so really if
this trend continues, music will eventually be free?? it would be like tv where they depnd on adverts to make money it .it could be a good thing or a bad thing.instead they should have the advert instead of the album artwork that would work better, but each way you can avoid having to hear the advert, which isnt good for the advertiser.
i wonder
how many kids he has??? if hes 38 he was probably be able to have kids since he was 13 maybe so if he had one baby every year that would be 25, lets just hope they dont follow in his footsteps.....cos he is a monkey banjo
"......"
not sure if it would work, if someone was to release a single every couple of weeks or months people would loose interest because there would be less hype than if it was a lp released every two years and there might be less noticeable progression in the music, ashs last few albums have been pretty crap anyway
great ep
its rare that you can get to purchase a good ep but this is excellent cant stop listening to linger on and seems like home to me, cant wait till september for new ep.they are not playing ireland this year though which is crap to say the least
