i would like

to hear Frank Turner's new offering, which I believe is out in March.

he's no lightweight

Super heavyweight.

Actually, bit harsh, he's probably quite skinny. It's just that face....

so basically

it was camden queuefest all over again this year?

There's a

bloke asleep in that photo!

i think some of the above point..

..is further reflected in some of their blog stuff:
http://hadoukenblog.blogspot.com/index.html

bbbbut...

...it's a rotating headline tour. They both play every night, the letter in brackets only indicates which band is headlining. It's all good.

Brighton

Windiest. Place. Ever.

Anyways, I was around for the Great Escape and there are some posts about it on mp3 blog - http://keephopeinside.blogspot.com

Hot Club de Paris and The Spinto Band were ruddy fantastic.

MySpacehat.com

The crowd at their recent Way Out West gig were a bit....over-exuberant. Nonetheless, definately worth seeing live.

Anyways, there's some mp3s on the forum if you wish to delve further (perhaps reinvigorate the place while you're about):

DiS for a day: Bringing the rock to Stoke Newington

When's this shindig meant to finish?

The Cribs: new single, summer tour

The NME have backed the Cribs since their debut album, but it didn't seem to have any promotion at all.

Really decent band.

BSP go Electrowerz crazy - win tickets

If anyone manages to go, definately check out Battle if you can.

Les Incompetents, most entertaining band in London, do stuff!

I think they're great fun personally, and might I add that gig on the 19th is a charity one so pop down if you can.

Arctic Monkeys

The Arctic Monkeys are a bit ace, but what's this news of a single? What label are they releasing it on?

Battle announce debut single and strike out on the road

They're top banana.

The Others - The Others

It's the RAGPACK collective isn't it?
Other than that, decent review.

Bloc Party sells out in minutes

Brusma - They've been going round for ages, I'm sure lots of people have already seen then.

I know I saw them around this time last year supporting a band called Span, and I think Miss Gen Williams was at that gig too. Nonetheless, their rise and rise has been very impressive.

More dates in April though apparently, including 2 nights at the Astoria.

Bloc Party sells out in minutes

It's a right bugger. I'm up early and everything and still no ticket.
(p.s Gen, pop onto the Span board once in a while!)

DiS Takes on London - November '04

Les Incompetents have mp3s up on their website if you wanna have a listen:

My Red FROG - Welsh rockers hit the West End

They're amazing.
Go see them.

My Red Cell

The new MRC album, not single, is "13 in my 31". Out next week.
And the review was well...erm...interesting.

Re: The Others - This Is For The Poor

Totally disagree, go see them live. They're playing a couple of dates in London soon, supporting 80's Matchbox and doing a Playlouder date.
