Nice review,

and one of my albums of the year. Additionally I'm now very interested to hear The Flying Change album.

I first came across Kong over 2 years ago supporting FOTL

but this is the first thing of theirs I've purchased and therefore for me the tunes being old really isn't an issue and shouldn't deter from the fact that this album is awesome. Other than that great review and for the record my album of the year so far, brilliant stuff.

And the other 7...

Shearwater - Rook
The Fall - Imperial Wax Solvent
Okkervil River - The Stand Ins
Cats In Paris - Courtcase 2000
Portishead - Third
Fuck Buttons - Street Horrrsing

Man Man

Rabbit Habits

Listened to this for the first time this morning

immediately very impressed. Hope it lasts, very good album.

Terrible terrible news

Yes this is really bad news

I'm sure Patton would have wanted Cardiacs but Tim needs to recover.

There was a thread 3 weeks

back about this Mr D but thanks for highlighting what a tragic loss this is in the news section. Their gig and Nick's performance at Reading 98 I think it was will remain with me for the rest of my life. First class front man, brilliant band, sadly missed.

Clearly unrelated?!

maybe? but the Archie Bronson outfit have a side project call Pyramids apparently.

First priority is to choose

the curator and let THEM pick the bands as per the original idea of ATP. That way the chances are we all get to see unknown talent that will (hopefully) blow us away. 'Services' on the YYY day a few years ago spring to mind for example. Turning up at a stage waiting for a band to start and not knowing what the hell to expect was the beauty of ATP in the past, for me and my crew anyway. Having said all that CARDIACS PLEASE!

Yep good review

and fairly accurate. Roll on the summer then.

The album has leeked then

I assume?

Nothing much to add

Brilliant stuff, will be there for both the Forum nights.

Spot on review mate.

But Why oh why did you leave early!
Front row for me too, yes my neck hurt yesterday.

Thank god for this!

The ATP's are dull x 100 so I'm in!

And when

more to the point.

There's also a Primavera

gap, fingers crossed.

Bring it on

and play Primavera please.

As above

That Reading gig of '89 remains in my top 10 of all time. I remember my entire body vibrating just standing on the spot, such was the bass frequency!

Funny article

Appalling band, twats.

Listen again then ^

We wanted a 9 and we got it. Superb.

^This?!

Agreed

As previously posted a bit of a let down. Awful sound being the main culprit. Love LIARS though and no doubt the next time will be tremendous.

Can't wait for this

Twice in 2 days next week too, quality.

Shannon Wright?!

Lazy gits. Other than that a pretty spot on review.
