Borderlands 2
Why would you want to play anything else? So many guns - the sheer amount of missions/sidequests, injokes, pop culture references, humour, bad guys and NPCs is breathtaking. Plus it looks gorgeous.
Mike: Here, Del, this album Relationship of Command you sold me has well dodgy production! It's too loud!
Del: *puffs cigar* So's mine Mike!
dun na nun na nun nun
dun na nun na nun nun
we've got some half priced...

YES.
Proper tour please.
I really like these guys.
'I Guess You Could Say' is fantastic; love the swagger - very RATM in style.
brilliant album, just a shame it will be overlooked due to the lack of label.
No justice in the world.
I'M WISHING YOU AWAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY
CENTRED!
hmmm...nearly all of these tracks were on their first release though? Weird. The new one, 'Scorpieau'; is pretty ace.
Absolutely incredible album, I've actually been waiting for something like this
for ages, and they've delivered it. HEY! HEY! WE'RE NOT HERE FOR THE WEEKEND!
That A Place To Bury Strangers track is so, so good.
Tempted to get the album.
Oh AFI, what happened?
Remember when they used to be a punk rock band? :(

Excellent article!
It took me a while to get into 'Variations' if I'm honest as I was so used to the EP (having played it to death) but when it clicked....ahh...pure brilliance. I don't know what it is about the album that makes it one of those "yeah, I'll put that on again..." despite having heard it loads. There's so many layers and different parts and I love discovering new favourite moments, like the time change in 'Hasselhoff' or the weird glitchy noises in 'Bathroom.'
Also you mentioned BATS! What a band - I can see them winning a few MMISL fans fo' sure. Same intensity and speed.
"I'll have to keep my eye on you, and the wires and tubes, one a day."
Needs more Less Than Jake.
Ace playlist though!
I actually prefer this to 'I' and 'II'.
It seems heavier and meatier, yet still has that raw edge in places. 'Pleasure Seekers' and 'Six Days A Week' are incredible.
Idolise, the huge gold rotating statue.....
1. Down I Go - Tyrant
2. Adebisi Shank - This is an album of a band called Adebisi Shank

Chinese Democr.....
oh wait. DAMMIT!
The return of nu-metal.
naaa, Jaguar Love are great.
Their live show is so much fun.
FWW aren't ex-members of Jetplane Landing,
it's CURRENT member!
Even though I've seen that At The Drive-In clip loads
it's still fucking brilliant. I like how Omar just chucks his guitar away near the end and get's a tamborine.
I need this album.
*Something about the blood brothers, blah, blah, blah.*
This is very good news.
Looking forward to the tour as well.
*swoons*
It's interesting to hear that Johnny's more interested in pop-music now, considering the noise he used to make! Good on him for moving on to different things though, although I miss The Blood Brothers a lot.
So, are Neon Blonde finished as well?
I heard 2 songs off it.
Ultra-lame.
*something about the first few eps and album being better*
Although I am tempted by the London date...
naaa,
their album covers are great.
*something about not having an album by a band I like*
but seriously, no Down I Go??? :P
Speedo <3
I bloody love The Night Marchers, the 100 club gig was amazing. I wish I'd gone to all the London dates now. So, so good.
for RFTC:
get Group Sounds, Circa Now! and the Hot Charity/Cut Carefully Ep bundle. Also, their self-titled album is top notch. Fuck it, get everything by them. Best band ever.
It's great isn't it?
Sounds even better live.
