oasis are no better than the bands that imitate them, but at a time when i started listening to music, they were the most exciting band to listen to. They had passion for what they were doing and looked like they really 'meant it' but by the time the 3rd album came round they were losing that. Now i dont own or listen to any oasis albums, ive moved on, i think noel should too.

people seem to base their opinions of the Killers live on when they seen them a couple of years ago and they werent that good, but they really put on a great live performance nowadays, and the songs really are "anthems" which in a live setting are great

everything great that ive heard over the past year or so has come from these message boards, i dont listen to radio at all or read any magazines newspapers. if i keep seeing a band being mentioned on the music forum i check out their myspace and if their any good i download and/or buy the album
