£10
at fopp. i bought it yesterday.
come on, surely..
this album is a 10, it's so much better than his previous effort and more importantly, EVERYTHING IS RELEVANT on the album.
even pitchfork gave it a nine.

the photo atlas; basically the rapture, q and not u and ATD-I in a single band.
im happy that i didn't even have to look for them either, i saw them play with radio 4.
i once spilt my drink over charles from slow club.
he was not gutted. i was non-plussed.
this band sounds like
the flush of my toilet.
i hate them so much.
hooray.
this is a must buy. its never made any sense to me why their earlier material has never been officially released over here.
check out their 2005 release The Sunlandic Twins for more joy.
my opinion on this band is
arsed.
hmm.

i
fucking love situationists. i would love them even more if i actually tried out for their guitarist audition. oh well.
i am
ecstatic, foals at sheffield uni for £3 in march.
srsly.
8/10 from me as well. i've been listening to this for months; which is approximately 308472893723987514 more times than i ever plan to listen to the libertines. it must be a craze to like a shirtless smackhead drivel on stage.
i couldn't give a shit.
oh wait, i must give some sort of shit for posting this. but, i still feel the former.
michigan difficulties
Definately, i think Michigan is a little disjointed as a project, but it was his first effort on a state! blimey.
As for The Avalanche, I think Illinois could've done with Dear Mr. Supercomputer. especially over Decatur;that song is too twee even by my standards!
But, as a whole, i enjoyed The Avalanche, but i can't imagine it getting the rotation on my player as much as Seven Swans.
so Situationists actually supported?
blimey, i thought it was just a rumour.
they rock my world. what a fucking band.
from the ashes of umlaut! remember those guys?
anyone wan't a song from it?
thanks to stereogum.

delusions of grandeur?
they cancelled their gigs at sheffield uni no less than twice of late, with no reasons cited; last thursday The Yell headlined at the last minute and put on a far better show. Has all the "albion" bollocks has gone to their heads?
i saw them in london a while back, and they were okay; but again, hype hype hype.

usually full of tossers with diamond earrings and orange girls with VD, or law students. but then this means that embrace (aka kingdom, mingdom) will become the stronghold for non-indie students, which is in a way very bad.
