What did he die of?

Boredom perhaps, after falling to sleep listening to the coma inducing Blue Sky Blue.

The album cover is pretty special though, you have to admit.

Cos It's got that Johhny Borrell fella on it. His music might not be up to much, he might have a face like a hunger striker and an attitude that makes you wish bad, horrible things upon him but he's still well good, like a Bob Dylan with tunes, innit. And he knobbed Hermonie Grainger. Top buzz!

IT'S JUST NOISE!!!!!

I love Bright Eyes.

It was just mega boring. oh and you're shit!

I saw him at Reading this year.

It was shit!

Ha ha! Epic historical fail.

Na na na na Nah na!

A success they say?

That would depend on whether you consider the Nazis siege on Leningrad to have been a success.

I saw him walking around Soho in a Spiritualized t-shirt at 2am.

That alone makes him a bit of a genius.

13 minutes?!?!

I'm not paying for that!

Anyone got a download link?

It was an amazing night

and i'm proud to say i was there.

I thought he missed a song out of the set; Blindsided i think?? It seemed like there was more people in there because it was so packed.

I met him afterwards as he was packing up his van and he was a warm, delightful man. Just as you'd imagine.

I liked Homesongs but i don't think i could listen to it now,

even moreso after reading that Greenman story. What a self indulgent twat!

That really does sound like

an "daring" oasis tune.

I don;'t mind some of Coldplays song but this is shite.

Most difficult to record for them

is what i construed that as.

No Climbing Up The Walls?

Biggest glaring ommission by far.

Mmmmmmmmmmm!

Fags!

Lotus is amazing!

One of the best songs of whatever year it was released in. 1999 was it?

quite liked ^

Why no delete button?

Ah what am i talking about? No one will read this. It's Merz!

I was wondering what the hell happened to Merz.

And now i know.

I quite liked some of the stuff on his first album. This sounds very nice indeed.

I used the words "quite nice" and "very nice". That probably makes me Merz' biggest fan.

I'll send my spuff straight

to that funny guy then.

Bon Ivers album is probably the

loveliest record i've heard since my Puff The Magic Dragon cassette snapped in the player when i was 4.

Let Go is in my Top 10 as well.

And also didn't like The Weight. This album seems like an almalgamation of the two styles. Good album containg some great songs, particularly; Are You Lightning, which is the best song i've heard in ages.

I saw J Spaceman

walking through the East End of London wearing a Spiritualized t-shirt.

Genius!

That film is shit!

Beautifully shot, brilliantly acted but so very very boring. Watch Young guns 2 instead. Great soundtrack for that too as it happens ;o)

Yawn!

I'm sleepy.

I saw The Dirty

at The Rex on Wednesday night. They were fucking awesome. Best live band i've heard in quite some time.

I can't fucking believe this!

I've been doing the most God awful job for the past three weeks, proper slit your wrists if you think about it too much kind of work, and the the only thing thats kept me going was the thought of getting absolutely smashed and chasing young ladies around the Truck campsite just like last year. And now all that hard graft and hell has been all for nothing!!! Fucking nothing!!! Fuck September, I won't be alive by then the luck i'm having!

If any young girls between the age of 17 to 21 who are equally upset by this terrible terrible news fancy recreating Truck in my back garden or theirs then please please get in touch. I have booze, a silly amount of drugs and i'm sure I can borrow my Dads old crappy Squeeze records. I'll even clean out my shed and we can pretend its the Barn. Any takers?

(All replies must include a photo. I'm not shallow, it's just for security reasons)

Anyway...

enough of this, when's that Paul Banks: Farting In A Cave EP out?

My

Album of the Year, I reckons!

I hope they play some festivals this year. Reading or Truck would suit me just fine.

I'm a huge Patrick Wolf fan...

but going on his own website and posting a semi-response to the disparaging remarks made on there flies in the face of everything he and his music have stood for. What happened to the "this is me, like it or f*ck off" attitude? The Patrick Wolf I always imagined wouldn't have given two shits about a bad review or words written on a fans website but it seems that behind the sparkly clothes and brightly coloured hair there was just a young man desperately seeking approval all along.

I completely appreciate it if the constant touring and interviews have taken their toll but now he's making it sound like he's quitting because we didn't "get it" or appreciate what he was trying to do for us. In my view he's pretty much contradicted his whole body of work and now I feel cheated.
