The video reminds me of Firestarter.
Except this ones in a car park...
?
I think there loast album felt a bit kind of 'disposible' compared to No Cities Left
which I think is a bit of a masterpiece, I must have listened to it thousands of times at University. Ill definately give this one a proper listen tho when I have a spare 58 minutes and 16 seconds.
I agree with John Peel...
...that a band is not worth pursuing if they admit to an admiration of the New York Dolls or they have a saxophone player in the line up (regardless of the quality of those pins).
Thats not right either is it
Fuck it.
This band is really shit
There new single sounds like terrible The The
Jesus,
that top picture is pretty shocking, imagine if all your drugs were left in there.
Seeing them today
Maybe this should have a *spoiler* tag in the headline. Just kidding, altho this sums up everything I was worried about, its also everything I was expecting. In conclusion, Im very excited, havnt seen them before and think if I drink enough beer it will be a great night.
A laughable list...
altho as a Foals hater, I can confirm that I will not be going anywhere.
I got to get up to get down and start all over again
Good news indeed.
Haha
The Judas Priest pic is hilarious. The pearly king of rock!
Not me!
But then Im quite sure they are still an absolute pile of wank.
This is kind of bullshit
cos Id never go and see a band in a stadium, at least at a festival everyones spread out. In stadia everyone would be all up in your face
How much for...
... aargh I cant say it.
I love this bloke.
What a legend! Roll on Benicassim!
Anyone who gets foals to do a humiliating live acoustic performance deserves all the credit in the w
as far as im concerned
What a cunt
That is all
I think its unfair the kid who got beaten up has to have his lame ass name published
and everyone else gets to use their sudonyms. Once again its one rule for the Gangsta Rappers and another for everyone else.
Kayne would be cool!!!
Chokeslamming Michael Eavis on the pyramid stage.
Benicassim woooo!
Finally gets a mention on DiS!!!
Oh yeah and can we stop talking about Glasto now. Seriously.
Fuck!!!
Its the weather, its the headliners, its the capacity. Change the record please!!!
^^ this ^^
very good.
What?
again... what?
Very interesting
and quite depressing too. All the best for the future but you do sort of feel that if your going to dance with the devil then this sort of thing is going to happen.
"That joke isnt funny anymore"
I hope the NME have to sack their cunt of an editor soon.
You’ll be able to see the whites of your audiences’ eyes…
And they can see the fear on our faces! No, that’ll be good fun.
Very funny.
Its wicked
Good review, but listen to the album before you jus take the above words as read.
Yeah I agree!
Im sure he heard of Spacemen 3 before they had heard of him, if you know what I mean, same with the Mary Chain.
^^This
Brilliant!
Seriously
Facebook.
Nu-Gaze
Is a far worse term than all of the above.
oooohhhh
I hope Ronsons still playing his double neck epiphone by then. What a cunt!
They suck balls.
Literally and metaphorically,
gobble gobble.
^^ This
You also know that the people going to this are gonna be jus like those cunts.
Re: The photo
Ive definately seen that before on Soulwax's website.
Benicassim indeed
Brilliant festival, cant believe its not mentioned up here!
Black Milk?
Does he take his name from the reeves and mortimer sketch with the Americans and their vegetable patch.
I doubt it.
I like Macca
Wicked dancer!
YEAH!
They arent very good!
^ that should be
Lily in Shit
^
Seconded
Battles stole their sleeve
from Fripp and Eno
You can say it...
but you'd be wrong. Good article, great band. Now to get back to work.
Dont chuck the monkeys in...
... with all the other 05/06 indie boom bands. Hard Fi are one of the worst bands ever, and its probabaly a sympton of their success that bands like The Enemy got themselves signed.
Fair enough
But any band that big that hangs around after their gig playing to fans who still want more deserves a bit of credit. That cover is excellent as well but I guess it all comes down to opinion at the end of the day and the idiots will always get their way.
