here here!
Isn't it time that KK cast off his widows veil to stop lamenting about 'times past' and embrace the band he's 'grown to cherish' as it is now? This is surely reason enough:

damn fine words here
twilight sad is one of my favourite albums of last year - as I'm sure many on this site will agree - and Frightened rabbit are ace too
three cheers for fat cat!
Am pleased that Foals
got a look in this week - think the Katie Melua single is dire every way you look at it.
My money's on Malcolm Middleton charting next Sunday

There's no easier way to do this
than to say you can get 2 new songs by Wave Pictures each week if you sign up here:

sorry for the shameless plug and lack of inventiveness...
yeah and...
the music's pretty good too! iodine is a fantastic album, this band are seriously underrated...
an incredible album!
can't stop listening to it, a true epic of our times!
I agree
- it's a good album but hardly ground- breaking
wow
this is a painfully good compilation
could we not have
shoetronica instead?
already there!
they were amazing at HMV (well as great as an instore permits you to be under those stark lights)
i think 'it's a bit complicated' is pretty damn good, but not as good as this:

Glad someone cleared that up
I was stumped about where the Victoria Gardens are! Pretty good line-up, Metronomy are always fantastic each time I see them. And always have a new set of dance moves that amuse and amaze me in equal amounts. Bring it on!!!!
Yep!
Foals rule!
WOW!
This has gotta be done!
I saw that too
think they had sound problems that night - I've seen them before and they were just as blinding as their recorded stuff. There's a few live clips on the net that matches up to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vyp5bltr1U
clang
Was all I heard during that bit...and the sound of tumbleweeds rushing through the venue...
I saw that too
Thought they were really gracious winners despite the appalling intro that twat from the long blondes gave em
Gah!
I haven't heard the album yet! Is it more accessible than Axes? If it's like Rock It To The Moon that would be so amazing
metronomy!
Gotta love those odd dance moves.
And Fujiya & Mijagi - saw a thread on another part of the board which reminded me how good this lot are
Pull Tier Tail that is
not These New Puritans etc...
Reckon
Have you seen the ace tiger masks that band have had made? That always sways me!
hmmm, reckon they will be pretty huge that band
...These New Puritans and The Violets should do well this year too.
Think Foals will turn the indie hipsters heads but can't see how this'll translate into sales...

if you're that gutted
about them not doing a full tour, why don't you go to see them in London?
