I'd have made more of an effort
If the new album wasn't disappointing. Maybe it's a grower though.
Gutted
Not good news at all but like others have said this would have been much more of a blow a couple of albums ago. 'Feedback' is a bit boring overall although I did still like 'Power In Numbers'.
I'll be interested to hear the solo work.
Seafood
Are most enjoyable though. I see no cause for disappointment.
Maybe...
I still think it sort of works for bands who are producing exciting, fresh music in a way as well but generally I'd expect them to be younger and breaking.
Haven't listened to either of the EPs I had in a while. Think I'll dig them out now.
Ooh
I just remembered that there was a DVD on the 'Meteora' album which is absolutely hilarious. Watch in stoner heaven as a band explains in great detail how they recorded a guitar track and played it backwards for the album as if inventing the wheel!
First Record
Was punchy pop/rap metal/rock/whatever with three songs of the length 03:04 (I dunno, that always made me laugh. Like when I read some magazine dissing Disturbed and Taproot for releasing albums comprising only of one word song titles) which I'd still defend as being good in it's field.
They've pretty much bored me ever since like. Live album, remix album, guess they kinda had to write a new record soonish.
In related news
I'm selling advertising space on my elbow if anyone's interested.
Still haven't
Managed to catch her live frustratingly.
One day freens. One day...
Dismemberment Plan
'Spider In The Snow'?
Eels - 'Flower' always reminds me of doing papers in the snow on my mum's street in the dark. Really nice memory for some reason, I'm sure it was shit at the time.
Weird.
Highly unexpected but still quite pleasing.
.
I just stuck on the first album just now, it's not as annoying as I first thought it was. Might be a grower!
I didn't know what to make of the album
To start with anyways. Now I love it. Beautiful so it is. Really looking forward to getting a chance to catch them again. Can't make this date sadly.
More bands
Should play in churches. Bands of a certain ilk of course like Dresden Dolls, Explosions In The Sky or 65daysofstatic and the like. In my mind the gigs are amazing and people write reviews with phrases such as 'kneeling at the altar of <insert band here>' and the dates aren't just in London and the tickets are sold based on a system of secretly watching people listen to the band and seeing who looks like they enjoy them the most.
I won't make it but...
They were pretty good at Club NME in Aberdeen so they were.
Million Dead were fucking amazing
But I'm willing to sacrifice them if Frank's going to continually be as into his solo stuff as he has seemed to be up until this point.
The new Bob Dylan I heard. Fuck your Willy Mason ^_'
He was amazing
At the Tunnels in 'bloody' Aberdeen last month. Much enjoyed. One of the most charismatic characters I've seen onstage in a long time.
Roll on the album release!
I wrote a song about this post
Called 'I weild the power keyboard'
'Tis mighty. Nelly Furtado appears naked in the video.
I find him
Pleasant enough but I fail to see the massive attraction over other solo artists.
Bon Jovi?
Que?
I'd agree
That it's definitely a grower, after initial disappointment it's wormed its way into my heart and now I love it as dearly as their previous output.
Two thumbs up!
Aberdeen
Venue seems a bit larger than I'd expected but we'll wait and see how it sells. They were endearing at Reading Festival this year. Won me over with their set.
I'd been a bit sceptical before.
Yes
That is a bit odd. Cracking lineup though.
Blood Brothers UK tour allows me a shield of defiance towards the people of Orlando! Defiance against your green-eye inducing lineup! HaHA!
.
I still like Garbage. Curve also but I found Garbage first when I was ickle so they'll remain in my heart.
I have a t-shirt that says '#1 Crush' on the front. Yes.
I'm with the majority
On here at least, the physical form is way more pleasing to have, pile up in ridiculously high piles and continually knock over when drunk thus annoying people by creating a mess in your room and potentially uncovering a Wildhearts single you'd forgotten you even owned and then sitting listening to CDs from the piles all night rather than sleeping. This might have happened to me recently.
I'm glad someone else brought up the 'what if your computer fucks up?' thing. If I bought all the CDs I'd bought this year as downloads and my PC fucked up I think my heart would stop.
Nerina Pallot?
How did I miss Adem getting the support for her?
Definitely going to make the effort to catch that show at Lemon Tree now.
yayeth
Tunnels will be amazing.
I've been waiting a long time to see these guys...
?
I have a mild form of suicide in that I cut my finger chopping a courgette today.
It's Fallout Boy sir...
...Just not QUITE exactly as we know it.
Well...
I guess the question is whether they get punished if they're caught or get some kind of 'service to the community' award...

Re: People In Planes take flight
Anyone know whereabouts they're playing in Aberdeen? I presume it was supposed to be Dr.Drakes :(
Aguliera to make babies with Bratman
Hardcore Tours Galore in 2005
Usual hardcore antics detracted from the set for me but maybe I'm just getting old and cynical. Windmilling at ducks in the park. That image will cheer me up all day.
Dr Drakes closes
Here's hoping anyways.
Kelly Osbourne - Shut Up
That's worth some kudos in my books.

One more time!
I won't be there though >,<
Hopefully they'll reappear sharpish with new projects though like someone said.
