very good review
misery is better (in my opinion) although they're not so comparable due to the shift in production. thought this at times had a prince-like sheen (particularly the 3rd track) as opposed to the rustic, strings based stuff last time around.
...
this was fucking incredible, they never fail to deliver. however, i agree with the presiding aura of finality.
no cherubs :(
but incredible nonetheless.
Why would anyone
that's sane, ask stupid fucking questions?
dick-sucking fool at pussy-licking school
the best pavement album for sure.
...
i guess thsat was made in '99 but i would have gone for that too.
or 'theresa's sound world' sonic youth.
decent album
agree with the review of the 1st disc. the 2nd disc is pretty tedious though, 4 versions of 'a joy'. pah.
..
this is timely as i'd only recently binned my chunky VHS version.
...
ditto that. still, it's a pity.
interesting article...
checked out the myspace page. the intriguing thing for me would be knowing how he became so aligned to film? whether he courted that side of things first (and how he achieved that). i've been in the process of putting some demo's together that are similarly instrumental and i'm kind of stuck as to where i think i should be sending them, regular labels? or film people? whoever they might be?!
really looking forward to the zidane score..
sounds reminiscent of CODY era music from what i've heard.
3 Albums Too Late
Definitely.
..
thoroughly terrible review. the only enjoyable part of visiting this page was being reminded of THAT seinfeld episode. ha.
..
the headline twinned with THAT picture certainly is hilarious.

was at the garage show and witnessed LB for the first time. absolutely fucking incredible! simply one of the best bands yr ever going to see live.

good album, i think 'the sound of failure' was my favourite track upon the first few listens, lovely stuff.
gooooooood
good review, amazing gig, 'broken witch' proved to be the highlight for me.
...
silly me, foolishly purchasing tickets rather than playing guess the coloured panties
a good album
personally i think it's a bit better than this review suggests. initially i did feel it was a bit indifferent and some tracks passed by quite inocuously, but as with 'happy songs....' repeated listens make a mockery of first impressions.
curzon cinema ticket
