Super Furry Animals

He played Durham

and told a room full of middle-class white students to 'put their guns in the air'.

Hmmm.

Erm

There's a pretty one?

RIP TOTP :(

The programme last night was rubbish. Tony Blackburn doing his best impression of a crab, and no Smiths. Not to mention some tool smirking about Wham!. Bah.

Don't we all?

Hmmm

I've never seen them live but The Message is ace...

Say What You Want

Black Eyed Boy
Put Your Arms Around Me.

So there.

This is terrible.

Hope he gets well soon.

Mando Diao?

What are you ON?

I love the Retro Spankees

With a big jar of love.

Of course

'Mumrock' must have absolutely nothing to do with 'Dadrock', that's been clogging up the charts ever since Noel Gallagher discovered he could make more money on woeful singalong 'anthems' than on actually being any good.

Is 'visciously'

a hybrid of 'viciously' and 'viscously'?

If so, yuck...

Those dates are

on exactly the same days as my exams. Boo.

Isn't it spelt

Frederick Bang! ?

Brilliant band, by the way, can't wait to see them Friday week. Hopefully the single will be MINE very soon...

They're playingin Durham

Sunday 26th. Be there or be rectangular. Man.

PS PM me if you want to reserve a ticket, I'm supposedly helping to organise it...

Government looks to aid indie labels

Music minister.

I want that job. Now.

Re: Chiefs ready festive DVD

Well, Blur changed their name to get signed, and Bloc Party used to be Luno, and the Stone Roses were a goth band for about 45 years- maybe Parva just decided to stop what they were doing cos what they were doing is wrong...

Twunts of London tour: big f*cking deal

Missing out the North-East? My heart bleeds.

Larrikin Love - Six Queens / Little Boy Lost

Little Boy Lost sounds just like the Libertines but with slightly more Smiths-y lyrics. And don't they sond just a wee bit similar to Good Shoes, who happen to be on the same label?

Re: Martin's losing his marbles: Coldplay to go country?

If we're being specific, it's Oasis' fault for inventing Noelrock, which popularised weepy anodyne singalongs, which begat Dadrock. So we should burn them instead.

Re: Q nominations: Oasis storm the shortlists

Yeah, cos getting showered in beer and being carolled by yobbos really makes a gig for me...
