Hopefulyl they will come back for headline shows at some point, ina venue that in't the horrid hangar of the o2 (not that jane's could play there on their own anyway i don't think)

I like this album. reckon 8 is about right.

I read one review that kind of summed it up nicely for me. it said something along the lines of
"the sound of cycling round to your mate's hosue after school"

earplugs would generally cut out the fiercer end of the noise and trebly nastyness (or this case gloriousness)
and so yeah, it would maybe allow more of the subtle melodies and even vocals to be more audible with them.
often at gigs i find i can hear more of the vocals with earplugs in.
