'genre' - does that make it better?

Time for the post-post-rock build up I reckon!

Lazy journalism. This is a completely media-centric argument - so they can happily pidgeon hole away. Stop thinking so literally. Post Rock is a concept not a strict feckin genre. This is why Tortoise and Stereolab are included. FYI post rock was first coined by Susan Sontag in 1964.

The genre destroyed itself when too many bands all started sounding the bloody same.

they were the best thing at Supersonic last year. Incidentally, the Jerusalem show clocked in at 5 hours.
