quite a change
almost summer-y sounding.
not sure yet.
i care
:)
if their anywhere near as good as they were at King Tut's
then it'll be great!
if thi has anything to do with ycni:m splitting
then i am going to personally hunt down mr mullen. this is quite sad
ahhh
i can imagine the returns not being too great. unfortunately, emusic is just about my only means of hearing new music these days. thanks for the quick reply robin, i might just grab a physical copy of this one.
cheers,
Ross
oooo!!!
still need to get the latest album!
thanks for reminding me!
this sounds brill.
also robin, if you're reading this, will any ac30 stuff be on emusic at any point in the future?
meh
a huge disappointment for me.
seeing them tonight
cannae wait! still havn't purchased this, but i look forward to hearing it now!
there are live bootlegs of about 2/3rds of these songs on the various fansites
sadly Bangers'n'Mash is not said theme tune :(
aye..
listening to it right now. all legally and everything
machines?
really?
i cant really put my excitement to words
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
good
:)
well...
the single is pretty mental.
nice to hear the guitars return
great stuff!
listening right now actually to the latest album. Its great, though i certainly don't hear the Billie Joe Armstrong thing!
only on second listen around
i can tell its going to be a grower! I think i could enjoy it more than Ignoto in time...
I think there has been a profound effect on the band following Print Is Dead
have to get this!
12" only?
thats a shame
i reallly like this, perhaps not the best way to demonstrate the awesomeness of the album. 'Rats! Rats! Rats' might have been a better choice
going here in summer
to save turtles.
sounds like a fun place to be.
a teeny bit yeah
more Polly Jean for me,
a good thing :)
they were fabby at ...Trail Of Dead
will need to steal this from the wife
apparently the hairs on
ebay.
i shall be purchasing this!
the album is just stunning, though i can understand the feelings you express in the final paragraph.
No Emotion
is utter pish. Woomble sounds like he couldn't give a toss.
They were pretty good at Glasgow ABC the other week, so fingers are still crossed.
Firewater
= poo.
everything about them is soooooo overblown
checked out the myspace page, the songs are okay....BUT it all seems to be about the image, the fact that Leto is in the band and shitey "art-y" videos.
make me think of my vitriol and angels & airwaves all at once somewhow...
we supported them at tuts on wednesday
and they were really tight, and better than i'd expected based on what id heard before the gig.
but its nothing new really...
oh yes
nice guys too.
few Trail Of Deadisms...but with BEATS, the rhythm ssection is really...taut...and nice...
good review :)
more good bands
whats the problem?
sold out in glasgow :(
upgrade of venue please! well bigger anyway! cannae beat Tut's
the blackout ep is also groovy
indeed theres an undercurrent of lovely pop about it all...
roddy wooble solo and funk are four words that shouldnt be used in conjunction. might be a larff though.
it was on the £5 wall in fopp for a while, which is certainly worth it.
give em a myspace search and see if you like whatever other songs they have up there.
they are really rather ace
come north of the border lease though guys! 'Astronauts' is a gorgeous tune. TUUUNE i tell thee
yes yes yes!
and Team Sleep are good, too many tracks on the album perhaps, but when its good its GOOD
6.5-7/10 for me
for some reason i find myself wanting them to be better than they are....there is definitely something there though...i feel a bit of momentum was lost with the departure of the old bassist and a session dude being brought in...
this is good news
love SDRE and The Fire Theft
last i heard the band stuff was gonna bring the rock
whereas the solo stuff is his folky fogey vent...
not sure who that was directed at RockAndRoll but i certainly didnt say anything to welcome that.
excuse
me?
fuckin' awesome
that is all
a wee bit more than 7
this is gettin seriously bummed atm
tell me
that pic is doctored, ewww
sheesh
fire fire is great
