lamacq's old 4 hour show on a monday night was amazing, the 1 hour thing never really worked though, playing about 1 minute of each track.
if you're moaning about jo whiley, bear in mind theyre about to replace her with... fearne cotton, and edith bowman with that other annoying prick who's always on. I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS STATION AT WORK PEOPLE!
and replacing colin murray (who was, to be fair, quite decent) with nick grimshaw is farcical.

noone seemed to care about them second time round though.. i've not even heard the singles off the second album.

i think there's at least two other stages though so they'll probably have SOMETHING decent on them anyway.

i saw them in may 2006.

hmm.. maybe the fact, *TIM JONZE*, NME journalist, set up an ENTIRE LABEL to release glasvegas' singles. then, suddenly, almost, COINCIDENTALLY, overnight they become the NME's favourite new band.
coverage in every scottish newspaper and the national music press follows promptly..

their glasgow show last month was immense.

alan mcgee's been posting practically daily bulletins on myspace about this band for at least 18 months, yet suddenly NME takes notice and now they're EVERYWHERE. and they're not even THAT great. why aren't the twilight sad getting this amount of attention?

are releasing an album SOMETIME though they've been saying that since at least may 2006.

was on the t-break compilation.. so in a way it has been released.
it's on their myspace page, seems to have been renamed though!

i've been going on about this band for a few months. they are IMMENSE.
first saw them supporting idlewild last month, and they truly were amazing..
nice to see that DiS are giving them some exposure!

is about the only thing the NME's still worth reading for.. maybe not counting this morrissey thing.
