This

is jolly good. It has also inspired me to dig out Lust Lust Lust again.

!

Hahahaha!

What the fuck is that?!

sad times

they'll be missed

hmm

also true.

Let's face it, it'd probably be mostly "so you released In Rainbows online yeah?"-based I reckon so perhaps it'd be better they don't get interviewed.

ooh

You could be right. That'd be rather nice.

haha

Nice job, Garage.

nah

Looks like it'll just be a performance, what with there being three other guests:

Guests include Dr. Who himself David Tennant, the tenth Time Lord to occupy the legendary Tardis, and his new permanent companion Catherine Tate. Plus British film icon John Hurt, talking about his new movie The Oxford Murders, and music from Radiohead performing live in the studio.

Still awesome though, like.

well

It's an amazing video but I saw it about four weeks ago now - how is this news? :D

Haha

The competition was a great idea, and this will obviously be great coverage, but the idea of showing a documentary as beautifully crafted as Heima on a medium such as YouTube is just laughable!

Aww.

Nice piece.

Lovely guys too. Having not seen/heard anything from them in two years, seeing them at this year's Camp A Low Hum I was totally confused at what seemed like a huge change in sound. Looking forward to hearing the album and EP.

coooool

superb.

oh

how super.

This will be fun. Is the 2pm ending just for DJ sets, or will bands be on after like 11.30pm?

they

They were huge at Komedia at The Great Escape last week, despite - yep - only about fifteen people giving a crap about them even being on the stage. Luckily we were treated to a great encore, but again there were only about ten people clapping and cheering, everyone else was in a past-1am lull, waiting for Club NME to kick off. What a shame.

oh

Just twigged they're all moments from records...ignore me please...

:o0

No Ryan Adams?

I'm off to weap.

±

lolz.

haha

I'd agree with that :D

See you later aligator.

sad face

were absolutely diabolical. she wasn't even touching the keys on the thing!

laughably awful.

true...

...but he played Liverpool in February hehe. precious few jokes about falling down though, I don't think he wanted to tempt fate :D

extra date

Ryan and co will be hitting London not once, but twice. Sat 30th Sept and Sun 1st Oct.

Tickets onsale tomorrow at 0900.

oh

baby. :D

Awesome.

this

is shaping up to be super-mega-awesome...

Can't wait.

Paul

this

is a really neat idea. I like it. Will the songs released digitally also/ever be available physically? Or just as part of the connected LP? Or not at all?

Paul

that

was also put on an X Files compilation (Songs in the Key of X) also featuring Nick Cave's Red Right Hand... The Foo's cover is fucking tops :)

Oh and I hear mentions of either Futureheads or QOTSA for support at the moment.

Paul

I...

I work in a library. That article hurts my eyeballs :(

Cakes...

Cakes...now there's an idea. What flavour, if you will?

Nice blanket too. You should make full bed spreads, they'd sell fucking well in Argos - I had a Coca Cola one when I was a kid. Irony being that the stuff made me high as a kite.

Christ I'm bored...

paulie

brilliant!

Well clearly the Stones want some unsaggy boobular action at their show...Not a bad choice. Though at a Super Bowl half time show I don't know how lucky they're going to be....

But yes, American Football is cruddy.

paulie

MVC

was always a bit shit. Even if you had a card it wasn't very cheap...

paulie

Nice :)

Looks good, yep. I'd moan about the backgorund repeating on the right, but its my fault for having a widescreen laptop...

Like it :)

Re: DiS does RoTa, week 2: THE ROCK COMETH

Akira are pretty wicked if their EP is anything to go by...Its always been an aim to see them. I should go. Maybe.

Hehe, hello chap.

OOH! Below the belt :P

He's blatantly being Dylan *rolleyes*

Ryan Adams to release three albums in 2005

jaggysnake is wrong (and possibly a biffy boarder :P )

Ryan doesn't have much filler at all. I loved Rock N Roll and while I don't listen to it as much now, it's great for what it was intended to be, a bit of a rip-snorting rawk album, copying and ripping off the genre.

I can't wai for these new releases. The man is a God.

Deckard - “Why are our generation so concerned with making such awful music…?”

saw deckard in november 2000 supporting aussie indie boys Powderfinger at the astoria. i enjoyed them but never got round to buying their stuff. will be at the barfly, drink in hand, enjoying The Pinch as well.
