I love this album
Thanks
last time i went the DJ refused my request to play something off...
Satanic Panic In The Attic, saying "we don't really play rocky stuff". They then played The Pixies. I would've been miffed was I not having an excellent time.
i like it
but i haven't heard the first one.
i'd give it 7 'n all.
i saw Dom by Far Cotton Rec the other day
it made me smile.
i might slam SATT on when i get in
i actually have GATS on in my car today. i still love the first 4 albums, i always will.
never bothered with lifeblood though
well...
it is important to note that not everyone has the ability to download as well. my computer is shit. luckily a mate copied it for me, i for one have no problem them releasing it. you have the choice after all. and also, you're pretty daft if you offered money for it in the knowledge you could get it for free.
as a single
i begrudgingly concede this may not have been the best choice, but nestling in the midst of the album, mammoth is indeed mammoth. you can't quite get the anger when you hear it in isolation i don't think but it is far from interpol by numbers...
Bellatrix
yes, Bellatrix.
The boy with the something or other eyes. i have that. cracking song.
good shiiiiit
i am off to barca to soak this up, i simply cannot wait.
8 or 9 listens in...
and this becomes simply sublime.
is the general consensus that Oh!Inverted World is superior to Chutes Too Narrow then? cos i couldn't disagree more, i mean it's good. but a lot of it is background noise.
You Slut!
you forgot the exclamation mark!
anyone who is going, you will not be disappointed, assuming they make it back from holland in one piece. bastards.
i agree
you slut! are immense, and one of the loudest things you'll ever here.
oblivious
to be honest until i bought the thing yesterday i had largely been unaware of the monkeys, but to be honest i have had it on 3 times already today and i'll probably put it back on in a sec. i am not going to state now that in 2 months (let alone this time next year) i shall still be enthralled by it it but for now it has me in a spin.
i can appreciate the lad above's comment tho, of course it isn't new or original but if it clicks then it clicks.
i agree!
twas a spellbinding evening, i love this band so so much, and what a way to finish
