wow is this only coming out now?
Had this record for ages. Love it.
loved the song for a while
video has ruined it though...
ouch
was really looking forward to this, hope this is better than a 4. Loved all their previous releases.
might be my favourite of the year
beats the horrors anyway
i think its a solid
7 at least maybe an 8. great album, very promising young band.
yeah its a good record
7/10 for me. blinding is the best track on the album.
a) Saint Dymphna
please :)
7 is about right
great in places, but a few too many average songs
fair review
I find it hard to get people into them based on the record alone, however great it is. You have to see them live really to truly 'get it'.
been loving this for a while now
some great tunes
respect +1
from a maths student
A)
The Mighty Boosh
i was there
such a good ending. those vids don't do it justice. nice review
this just keeps growing
the more i listen, the better it gets. it's one of the albums of the year for me
great show
great review. i couldn't resist the stage invasions. a brilliant night.
its an 8 for me
i think there are definately a few more great singles to come from this album. i am surprised by the mainstream success of 5 years time, but it was one of the singles of last year for me so im glad its getting the recognition it deserves.
i walked in half way through
dananananaykroyd set. upset i missed the start but what i did was amazing. (saw them last week anyway). i do think the mae shi should be given more credit than in the review, i thought they were just as entertaining and i thoroughly enjoyed them.
oooh
i remember seeing batteries on the floor
hmm
simian mobile disco better be worth missing foals for.
might hav to miss the mae shi (seeing them tonight) and dan deacon (supporting no age next week)
will be lucky to even get into the place before noah and the whale begin. last year the queue took ageees
ah crap
what rubbish dates. im back at uni by then :(
lulz
london's the best obviously :]
<33333333
i remember this song live. such a fantastastic pop tune. she is lovely
same
although it is definately the best album and deserves to win, i hope it doesn't. part of the greatness of burial besides the music was the mystery and undergroundness of it all. i can only see the mainstream destroying this gem of a record.
no we didn't!
tell us? google is useless
all i could think
when hearing this was wtf have they done to onkawara!?! if it ain't broke don't fix it! :(
nice to see someone else likes them
they normally get bashed everytime on here.
they grow on you i found
one of the things i like about DiS
is that when a review is wrong/shit, everyone makes sure the reviewer and any other readers know this.
if it wasn't for the comments some people might not bother giving a record with a poor score a listen.
i like this record. 7/10 seems fair
that pic
doesn't do her justice! it's a shame we have to go to leeds to collect it though? knew there was a catch
love this album
doesn't dissapoint in the slightest. i love salt, pepper and spinderell. and the other new ones are great. one of the albums of the year so far
i hate this time of year
loads of gigs during exam period and then nothing after :(
well
lotp > the displacements
as are most bands. the displacements are just another pigeon detectives types but even worse
another date
19th june for warwick universitys final summer ball thing! haha
at least it's a bit more interesting
than that last one they did with the meat hanging around the room while they stood there...
nice mention of
so many dynamos and the photo atlas. great bands that haven't got the attention they deserve yet
good review
they are very middle-class. fact. i think bombay bicycle club and them come from the same posh school. posh bastards. need some good working-class tunes.
they are very average and forgettable.
LOL
a truly terrible lineup. but very radio 1 i must give them that.
wow
anyone can get a top 40 single nowdays can't they. amazing. i bet mariah carey doesn't even know anything about e=mc^2.
God damn
creationists! go away!
i guess
it's hard to vary things up that much with only two people. I have really liked this record for a long time. Although all the songs have a similar sound I don't feel it makes the album feel overly long at all.
love this
lots
yeh
id love to see so many of those bands. how many would i actually be able to see in the two days though really? is it worth the £50. ive never been before. ive heard of queues and not really being able to move between venues as easily as they make you believe
woah
thought this came out ages ago. bored of it a year ago but i did enjoy it while some of the songs were fresh. has he made a new one yet?
wait
so there wasnt even a fire? what an anti-climax
mutiny on the bounty
stumbled upon them last year. sounds very fall of troy
mutiny on the bounty
stumbled upon them last year. sounds very fall of troy
i for one
love this album. and everybody else should . just admit it..is..that..good
yay
leamington spa
well
theyre in the process of growing up! cant speed up time.
also- most "real gigs" are over 18 only so some of them would never get in surely

Really like this record
Couple songs remind me of Architecture in Helsinki. Didn't like his old stuff much but this is pretty fun.
